THE FACT that Amelia had to sit in a chair and watch Ms. Grundy play and pretend she was fine was bullshit. But that's what she did. She honestly wasn't paying attention she just stared at her lap. She didn't tell Archie that she knew about him and Grundy. She didn't tell her father either.
Jughead told her not to.
Amelia felt angry how Archie didn't tell her about his forbidden romance. She wasn't mad at Archie though. She was mad at Ms. Grundy.
The music came to an end. Amelia sat in her chair as her dad and Archie went up. She was not talking to that woman. Amelia didn't care if this was petty or not.
Amelia watched Archie walk back to her.
"What?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest.
"Ms. Grundy is gonna have dinner with us," Archie said sighing.
'No way in hell is she getting anywhere near us' "Sounds good." Amelia said forcing a smile.

Amelia almost held her breath walking into Pops. She wanted to kill herself. She held her hands behind her back and swayed back and forth.
As all of them sat down Betty came over.
"Hey Betty."
"Hi Mr. Andrews, Ms. Grundy."
"Archie can I talk to you?" Betty asked.
No don't leave me with her!
"Sure I'll call you later?"
"No right now. School stuff, outside?" Betty asked walking away gesturing towards the door.
Archie got up and left.
God damn it.
"Ya know I saw Kevin I have to ask him about the math homework I'll be right back. Please excuse me," Amelia said politely as she could. Although it sounded very passive aggressive.
She walked over to the booth sitting in it, was Jughead, Veronica and Kevin.
"Kevin a word?" Amelia said.
"Amelia don't-"
"Shut up Jughead," Amelia said glaring at him and looking at Kevin.
