Chapter 4

Caroline's POV

"Mind your own business!" I scream but Klaus is still holding my arm. I don't want to admit that I'm happy he took me away. I can't stop seeing the look on Tyler's face. He was happy. 

"I only make sure that you don't do anything that you will regret, love." He says. 

He's right. I would have killed Tyler. Or worse. Killed Hayley. Or the innocent baby. 

Killing Hayley isn't a problem. 

I look into his eyes. Their blue now, that means that he's recently fed. His beautiful blue eyes.

Caroline grab yourself together! You're not in love with Klaus! Not in love with those beautiful eyes! 

"I will let you go if you calm down." He looks me right in the eyes.

Those beautiful eyes.

And then I do something I shouldn't have done. I take his hand. Together we walk trough the woods and after a while I look in those beautiful blue eyes again. 

His hand goes from my arm to my hand. I don't want to let go. He doesn't want it either it seems. It feels save. 

"What did Tyler do to you?" He asks.

"Only broke my heart," I say casually,"You know the basic stuff."

"I'm sorry love." He says looking me right in the eyes. It feels like he looks to my soul. 

Why do I feel so warm? Am I not supposed to feel cold? It is Klaus! The man that killed Tyler's mom! Even though I never liked her anyway. He killed Elena! Okay I didn't really care about that. She was only thinking about herself. He killed Jenna! Yes at least one kill I give a damn about!

"Why did you come back?" I asked.

"I don't know if I will stay Caroline." He says. Not the answer I was hoping for. To be honest I want to know more about him. 

I can't.

But I will. 

My phone rings. Shit! Another five minutes and I would have done something stupid to Klaus!

 "Hello?" I let go of Klaus' hand. "Elena? Of course I will come! No I'm not doing anything." Why am I'm lying? It's not like I have something to hide. 

"See you in a moment." I look at Klaus. "Sorry"

He doesn't even mind. 

Those beautiful blue eyes. 

I speed away knowing that they will never go out of my head.

 He looks at me. "Do you really have to leave immediately?" He asks.

Elena's POV

I wake up upside down. My hair is touching the floor. I feel light headed. 

Where am I? I hear footsteps. A human walks into the room. 

I can smell the sent of dirt. I try to climb myself up. I try to loosen the chains. 

"Miss Pierce has send me to send an message." She says and after that she kills herself. And the only thing I do is scream.

Where am I?

I scream for help. Please help me. 

What does Katherine wants? What do I have to a dead girl?
