Chapter 23

Klaus' POV

Not a day went by when I did not think about her. But I can't. I shouldn't. Love is a vampire's biggest weakness.

Her smile that shined through the room.

I can't.

Her eyes that went big at the sight at baby clothes.

It's not save.

It's been a month. 

A month without Caroline. A month without Rose. A month with loneliness.

"Klaus?" Marcel stands in front of me.

I nod not knowing what he said. I just hope that it wasn't a question.

I'm at a meeting. That witch..Davina, is on the opposite of the table. Next to me are Marcel, some werewolf dude and a human. 

"At least show me what respect!" Marcel demands.

I rip out the werewolf's heart and drink from the human's neck. The witch runs. 

"I don't listen to anyone, that includes you!" I say,"I'm the original hybrid! I am a MIKAELSON!" I walk out of the room leaving Marcel speechless.

Stefan's POV

After I saw that Care was with Kol I left. I swear revenge. Caroline deserves her child. Even if she doesn't remember having any.

I left her clothes with Kol and I drove away. The airport is only 10 minutes away. The only thing I have with me is a backpack with... Stuff.

I don't know where she is.

But I will find her.

And I will...

Bring her back.

I guess.

That sounded better in my head. 

Anyway, the first thing I need to do is find Rebekah. And how do I find Bekah? Through Klaus. And how do I find Klaus? 

"Hello Freya." I say through the phone.

"Stefan! I thought you left! How are you?!" 

"I'm great thanks." I say.

"When do I see you again?" 

"I don't know. Maybe very soon."

"Where are you?"

"On my way to the airport, I miss you."

"No. Way."

"Yes I do."

 "I want to pick you up but I think Klaus doesn't let me."

"How's that?"

"He needs to punish some vampire's who doesn't listen."

I open the car and but the bag on my back.

"Why?"

"If a vampire leaves trails of human blood behind Nik kills them."

And a plan comes in my mind. Let's just hope I can bring a white oak stake into the plane.

Caroline's POV

I've been living with Kol for a month. After Stefan left we watched the whole season of 13 reasons why and Kol cried. We drove through the whole town and back with Kol's car just to scare the hell out of some kids. I even have my own room by now. I decided to skip school. It's not like I have something about it. I visited my mothers grave. It hurts but I don't freak out like when my dad died.
