Chapter 15

Klaus' POV

"I love you too." She says and she falls asleep again. I'm so tired that I sleep right next to her.

A couple months later

Caroline's POV

The snow is already falling on my head and I run to my house. It's December and everyone in sitting inside by the fireplace. Elijah reads a book, Rebekah is drinking chocolate milk with marshmallows and talks to Freya. Freya joined us a month ago. I lay my hand on my belly. I've grown so much. Klaus is drawing in the corner. I walk to him. He smiles when he looks up.

"What are you doing?" I ask. I sit on the chair next to him.

"Just drawing a angel." He says. I look at his paper. I see myself sleeping in our room.

Did he just called me an angel?

"Care?" I hear Rebekah asking,"if it's a girl will you call her Rebekah as a second name?"
I don't even have to think about that.

"Of course!" I say. I'm happy. When Klaus is gone and Elijah is doing whatever, Rebekah and I go shopping.

We buy baby clothes and stuff like that. We have a second closet only for baby stuff and we don't even know the gender..

I hear my phone buzzing in the other room so I stand up and walk away.

"Hello?!" I ask. People don't call me that often.

"Caroline?" I hear Bonnie saying," OMG! Where have you been? I've been looking for you for months!"

I didn't tell anyone about my pregnancy. I didn't needed to. Everybody will hate me. I love Klaus.

"I-I.." I whisper into the phone. I felt a kick. Did the baby just.. kicked? Omg I have to tell Klaus.

"Bonnie I have to go." I say and I quickly hang up.

"Are you okay love?" Klaus asks.

"That was Bonnie." I say. I take his hand and places it on my belly. The baby kicks softly.

Klaus' POV

The little angel inside of the love of my life kicks into my hand. It's a wonderful feeling.

I want to say how happy I am but I see Caroline looking serious.

"Don't you worry love." I say," everything is going to be all right."

Rebekah enters the room.

"Care?" She asks to my queen.

"What's going on?" She asks. 

"You need to see this..." Rebekah looks serious. Protective. I immediately use all of my vampire senses. Caroline walks calmly to the stairs. One step after one. 

"CAROLINE???" I hear screaming. Oh no..

"Elena? Bonnie?" I hear doubt in Caroline's voice,"What are you two doing here?" 

I don't like this. And I will kill them if they make Caroline cry. 

"I can't believe you didn't tell us." the doppelganger says,"Can I come in?" She in front of the door. Stupid baby vampire. If she hurts Caroline...

"Klaus?" Caroline looks at me with her beautiful blue eyes,"Can you get Freya?"

"Of course love." I say trying to look as nice as possible. That didn't work.

The only one who can invite people in is my long lost sister Freya Mikaelson. Because she's  a witch the change that people who want to come in kill her is smaller than if the house is on Caroline's name. Besides, if anything happens to her I will torture that person till he begs me to kill him.

"Freya? Big sister, can you come downstairs for a minute? Caroline needs you." I say while I walk into the room. Freya is sitting by the fireplace.

"Of course." She says. Since Freya met Caroline they have been friends. Just like all the Mikaelsons she likes Caroline. How can you not like her? She is a bright light in a dark world.

Caroline's POV

"You can come in." Freya says and Elena almost strangled me because she hugged me so tight. I quickly pushed her off me because I don't want to hurt the baby.

"Tell us everything." Bonnie demands. 

"Okay." I say a little bit tired. Did Bonnie not just called that she couldn't find me? "But first are we going to sit down."

I take Bonnie and Elena to one of the many rooms in this big mansion. It's a room full of Klaus' art with lots of comfy chairs. I sit down here once in awhile and read a book or just stare at the paintings. Klaus added a couple paintings of me to his collection. They all look so beautiful.

I sit on a big red chair with a couple of pillows and Elena and Bonnie take place on the couch.

"Tell us everything! Who's the father? Tyler? What are you doing here by the Mikaelsons? Why are you not in Mystic Falls?" Elena starts asking questions.

"Elena calm down!" Bonnie says calmly. I wish I could be so calmly in this kind of situations. To e honest is Elena starting to freak me out. She never liked Klaus."Caroline, start by the beginning." She says.

So I tell them everything. From the moment Tyler broke up with me till today. I see Bonnie looking helpful and understanding. On the other hand Elena looks like she is about to kill someone. When I come at the point that Klaus came and a witch told him that the baby is his Elena jumps up.

"That's impossible!" Elena yells,"vampires can't get babies."

"Elena think about it." I say as calm as I can,"Klaus was made a vampire, but he was born a werewolf."

Elena looks angry. "Caroline? Are you on vervain?" She asks. What a weird question. Why should I have to be on vervain when I life with the Mikaelsons. "No of course not." I say. I don't even know why. I go further with my story.

"Caroline." Elena says. I'm a little irritated. "Yes Elena?!" Bonnie looks concerned from Elena to me.

"Elena don-" she yells but Elena speaks before she can.

"You are coming with us." She says. Wait is she compelling me?,"you say to the Mikaelsons that we're shopping or something." Wait what. I don't want to come with them. But I repeat the words after her. I can just hope that Klaus will stop us.

I hear people talking downstairs. I walk after Elena. Bonnie takes my arm.

"Caroline stop." She says.

"I would love to stop Bonnie." I say desperate,"but I can't. I'm trying but I can't."

I try to fight the compulsion but it doesn't work. It's to strong.

Elena and I walk downstairs with Bonnie a little irritated. I see that witch Klaus was talking about. Is it Davina? I don't know. I see Klaus hugging someone and I see Freya and Elijah look upset. What is this nonsense?

"You haven't aged a day." Elijah says. What? Who is this. I can only see his back. It must be someone important. Klaus just hugged him and Davina is still alive.

"So that is the long lost sister?" The man says.

"Freya." Freya says.
