Chapter 20

Hey guys! Its been a while since I updated and the Chapters aren't really long, I know. But I really worked hard on this chapter!

Caroline's POV

The month went by. Klaus left almost every morning and returned every evening with no progress. He even went a week to France just to look for Claire Williams. To kill her. 

At first I said that he should just give up. But every night she tortured me in my dreams. 

I walk outside to our big garden. Just to read and enjoy the sun. Rebekah needs to buy me new dresses everyday. It's summer now and Klaus already painted the nursery room. 

"CAROLINE!" I hear Rebekah screaming.

"What's going on?" I say.

Elijah runs into the garden and grabs my arm. He vampire speeds away.

"What's going on?" I say. We enter the woods.

"What's going on!? What about Rebekah?" I say.

"Witches." Elijah says,"They will follow us. I need you to run until you find someone that can drive you far away."

"What do they want 'lijah?" I say,"Where's Nik?"

"Run miss Forbes. Niklaus should have left Claire alone." He says,"I don't know how long I will be able to slow them down."

So I start running. It hurts but I keep running. What did you do Klaus?

Klaus' POV

Kol's little witch Davina found a track of Claire. With a old necklace of her we found trails of her in the big church in the middle of New Orleans. 

Why did I didn't thought of that?

I sent Rebekah a message that I found a trail and we meet at a restaurant across the church.

"I go in first." Rebekah says,"You go through the back. She won't expect that."

"See you soon little sister." I say while she crosses the street. I walk around the church and enter it through the back. 

The first thing I see is a lot of witches. And dead bodies. 

"Bloody.." I say before i get cut of.

"Hello Nik." Claire says,"It's been a while."

"CLAIRE!" I yell and I run to her. I try to grab her throat but something pushes me on the ground. Or someone.

"You know.." She says,"Witches really hate you." I notice Rebekah laying on the ground. Someone snapped her neck.

"What did you do?" I ask still lying on the ground.

"Get the girl." Claire says. I see Rebekah waking up.

"Run!" I scream and Rebekah vampire speeds out of the church.

"And here we are again." Claire says.

"I'm going to kill you and everyone that knows you!" I say.

"To bad your sweet little Caroline doesn't will see that." she says and she laughs.

Caroline's POV

I run so hard. My legs hurt. I'm eight months pregnant for god's sake.

I run through the woods. I still didn't saw something else than trees. I can hear my heartbeat. I trip and fall. I try to stand but my leg hurts to much.
