Caroline's POV
"Well that was a failure." I say to Klaus. He's drawing me.
"No it wasn't" He stops drawing. "It's still your birthday."
He walks to me and kisses me. I kiss him back while i take of my dress. He smiles.
I don't even care anymore.
I'm here. He isn't going to hurt me. If he would have want to hurt me he had plenty of change.
We both know it.
Kol's POV
I didn't want to go to Mystic Falls. It's boring there. But It's also boring in New Orleans. It's almost 7 hours riding to Mystic Falls. I will ride without stopping so I will be there in the morning. When I arrive I already see Rebekah through the window. I open the door and she hugs me.
"What are you doing here?" She asks.
"I was bored." I say
She laughs. I've missed my family.
"Where are my brothers?" I ask.
"Elijah is in the library and Niklaus in his room, I won't bother trying. Marcel is back." She says.
"I go check on them." I say.
I go to the library. Elijah sits in a chair reading a stupid book. "Hello brother." I say. He looks up. "Hello Kol" he says.
"Already bored of New Orleans?" Nik walks into the room.
"Of course I am, did you expect something else?" I say.
"Sssh, she is still sleeping." Klaus says.
"Who is?" I ask while Klaus laughs.
Caroline's POV
I wake up in Klaus' bed. The sun is already shining. Is it already so late? I take my clothes and dress. I don't see Klaus anywhere.
I remember that I have to go to visit my family in the south today.
I haven't seen them in a while. My uncle, aunt and my cousins are my only family left. They don't know about vampires, or other supernatural.
I don't leave a note for Klaus. He knows where to find me. He has my number. He could track me easily.
I walk to my house and change my clothes. I take a shortcut through the woods. But then my car stops and i almost smash my head through the window.
I take my umbrella and walk outside. I almost slip. A sharp pain goes through my chest and I fall. The last thing I see are a couple witches who surround me.
