Chapter 16

Caroline's POV

"KOL?" I almost scream. Maybe something little to loud. For God sake I'm pregnant I can scream when I want to.

"Caroline? What are you doing here?" Kol asks. He was dead. I was there when he died. Klaus almost let me die because he died.

The baby kicks again. I fast lay me hand on the place where it kicked. I don't want to loose this moment.

Klaus' POV

I can't believe Kol is back. I knew that little witch had a thing for him and stuff. But that she would bring him back? I don't even know how she did it.

Of course Caroline almost freaks out. She is a little emotional. But even I freak out on this moment so I don't care.

There is something strange about her. Every time that döppelganger moves she moves. And she doesn't seem to like it. She even seem to want to resist it.

"Caroline love is everything all right?" I say. Kol looks confused. Of course he is. He doesn't even know that the baby is mine.

"Yes it is." Caroline says with a cringe," we are going shopping."

Why would they shop on the moment Kol came back to the dead? And why does that little witch look so weird.

Oh wait. I forgot that my brother came back from the dead. That's Caroline's power.

But seriously. What is Caroline doing?

That Bennett witch stops Caroline from walking.

"Stop Caroline." She whispers into her ear. Maybe she forgot that we all have vampire hearing.

"I would love that." Caroline whispers back.

Elena looks irritated. "Come on Care." She says.

"Stop!" Bonnie screams. I knew something was going on.

"What are you doing?" Elena asks.

"This isn't right. Caroline could have left if she wanted to." Bonnie says.

"Bonnie! We're not alone!" Elena yells.

"Elena I can't let you do this!" She says and she says some words in Latin. Elena pasts out.

"Glad to be back." Kol mumbles behind me.

"I will take care of that." Elijah says taking Elena away.

I see Caroline looking concerned. She lays her hand on her belly. Is it kicking again?

"What is happening?" Caroline asks.

"No you first." Freya says. I know we're thinking the same thing. Please don't be upset Care.

"She compelled her." The Bennett witch says. That made me furious. If Caroline can't even trust her friends.

"Why would she do that?" Kol asks.

"Because of a little creature growing inside if me." Caroline says.

"What the bloody hell is going on?" Kol looks for help at that witch Davina but she doesn't know it either. The only ones that know about the baby are the ones we trust.

I trust Kol.

I know Caroline does either.

"Kol I think we need to sit down for a moment." I say.

"Bloody hell Nik!" Kol yells,"Just tell me what is going on."

"Something isn't right." Caroline says,"I feel a little..dizzy."

"Caroline?" I say.

And then she falls. She just pasts out. 

"DID YOU HAVE TO DO THAT DAVINA?" Kol screams.

"I can't let that devil survive." She says with that stupid tone of hers.

I vampire speed over to her and strangle her tightly.

"Calm down Nik." Kol demands.

"She needs to have a little more respect for the Original family." I scream.

I see Bonnie and Freya helping Caroline. Her eyes are closed tightly and her head bleeds a little. I can smell it from the other side of the room.

"Caroline isn't even a Mikaelson." Kol laughs,"Has love make you blind brother? She even has a child from someone else."

"How do you know that so sure?" I whisper. I let go of that stupid witch.

"What do you mean?" Kol asks.

"The baby is his." Davina says,"If it lives."

That was it. I took her arm making my fangs come out and I started to suck blood out of her harshly. I only stopped when Kol accomplished to pull me off her.
