"Gandalf, where are we going?" I asked, my temper rather short. He was too busy talking to the hobbit.

"I'll be alright, just me sit quietly for a moment," Bilbo said to Gandalf. I rolled my eyes.

"You've been sitting quietly for far too long!" The wizard spoke with a great look of stern on his face and a smoke pipe in his hand.

"Gandalf?" I say. No answer. I'm losing my patience.

"Tell me,when did doilies and your mother's dishes become so important to you? I remember a young hobbit who was always runnings off in search of elves and woods. Stay out late. Come home after dark trailing mud and twigs and fireflies. A young hobbit who would like nothing better than to find out what was beyond those borders of the shire," Gandalf began his 'convincing' speech to Bilbo. I huff in frustration trying to get his attention, but no he is far to focused in his speech.

"The world is not in your books and it's out there." Gandalf stopped, looking at a glass window. This was my chance to ask where the hell we were going. But again, I was interrupted.

"I can't just go running off into the blue. I am a Baggins of Bag-End," Bilbo snapped. Alright Bilbo, keep you feet on!

"You're also a Took. Did you know that your great-great-great-great uncl-" Gandalf said, but i just stormed out of the room. Not caring whether or not I'd made a scene.

Sitting down on a small -very small- bench, located within the hall of the hobbit hole. I sighed with such weakness as I am tired. The bags under my eyes, darker than before. I didn't realise that i had attracted the attention of a dwarf. Balin. I think. The one with the white long beard, definitely Balin I seem to remember.

"You alright lassie?" He inquired, sitting down next to me. I smile quite briefly.

"You could say that Balin," I answered. "Can ask you a question?"

Don't worry it's not anything stupid like: 'How did you get your beard so long,' or 'where's your mustache?' Stupid questions.

"Yes, lassie," He said.

"Where are we going?" I say, feeling rather stupid.

"Well we're going to reclaim Erebor back because we lass are the dwarves of Erebor," Balin explained.

"You're the dwarves of Erebor? I thought they were rumours, so the leader of this company is the king under the mountain?"

"Indeed, Thorin is quite the leader," Balin said. Balin left my side and went to another room.

Why did Thorin ask me if I desired the riches in Erebor? Now, it all made sense. Because he knew I was a bounty hunter and to be honest I do desire the riches of Erebor. Pure dwarf gold in my hands - would be a great pleasure. Certainly for my reputation. I want to say something else before Balin had deserted me. I wanted to ask him if Thorin liked me. Which i know he doesn't like me because... Well, he doesn't give off extremely good body language. Or a good looking stare. His piecing baby blue eyes. The of humming fills my ears of the very low sound. It was hoarse. I get up from the small bench, and looked into the room were the low hoarse voice was coming from. The humming was a deep, a sound that sounded like it was from the back of the throat. The lyrics I could I make out from the singing dwarves were:

Far over, the misty mountains cold

Two dungeons deep and caverns old

We must awake, ere break of day

To find our long forgotten gold

The pines were roaring on the heights

The winds were moaning in the night

The fire was red, it flaming spread

The trees like torches, blazed with light

I walked cautiously back to the bench, as I had nowhere to sleep and perhaps the bench could quite resemble a bed. The words meant something to Thorin. But what? The lose of their home? The dragon? The battle of Moria I believe? What did it mean? I spent most of the dark night thinking about them words.
