Casadon's Erik's P.O.V

After riding through the rain, which had stopped leaving us to bake in the sun as its blazes in the cerulean sky with the wispy white clouds. We rode through the lime valley with large rocks engulfed in them. After dismounting my stallion and following Gandalf to what had to be a decayed house left in ruins after Thorin giving the order that the company would be camping here tonight. Demanding that Fili and Kili watch the horses. I lurked with the grey wizard in the ruins the stone house. Well it's more of a shack than a house or cottage due to its size.

"A farmer and his family used to live here," Gandalf mutters under his breath. Thorin then orders Oin and Gloin to get a fire going.

"What does that mean then?" I say, concerned. Do orcs or trolls lurked this part of Middle Earth?

"I think it would be wiser to more on," Gandalf suggests, "We could make for the Hidden Valley."

I roll my eyes. It's been too long since I've been there or in a elvish civilisation

"I have told you already, I will not go that place," Thorin potters near me and Gandalf as his voice is in a dangerous tone. I was offended even though I didn't socialise with elves. Anymore.

"Why not?" Gandalf huffs, questioning Thorin's opinion of elves. "The elves could help us! We could get food, rest, advice!"

"We do not need their advice," Thorin's voice is low but soft then what he had just previously said.

"We have a map , we cannot read, Lord Elrond could help us," Gandalf suggested another suggestion.

"Help us?" Thorin questions.

I rolled my eyes as I snicker. Both Gandalf and Thorin glare at me. "Sorry."

"Dragon attacks Erebor. What help came from the elves?" Thorin questions, I doubt that Elrond is the same as Thranduil and the wood elves. They are mindless unlike Elrond who is wise and is acquaintanted with Gandalf and I. "Orcs plundered Moria, desi created our sacred halls. The elves looked on and did nothing."

"Actually, you mistaken wood elves for all elves," I say sticking up for my kin. Thorin didn't acknowledge my words.

"You ask me to seek out the very people that betrayed my grandfather? Betrayed my father," His voice decreases into a mutter which i do hear.

"You are neither of them," Gandalf reassures him. That was exactly what Gandalf said to me when my-nevermind, "I did not give you that map and key for you to hold onto the past." Gandalf's voice was filled anger and fury. He was irritated by Thorin's words of the elves.

"No, but they were not yours to keep," I raise a brow. I hear Gandalf breath out deeply as he walks away.

"I'd like to thank you for hospitality, Thorin Oakenshield," I breathed, not even glancing at him, yet I said in a i'm-trying-to-be-funny-with-you manner.

"Like you've got any of that," He teased, Yet he left to bite my lip in embarrassment, "Come on Bombur we're hungry."

Grey weathered stones, placed in a circle. Thick and skeletal sticks and logs placed in the circle of stones. Then flames of dragon fire blazing in the black of night. Orange sparks floating in the air. I sat away from the company looking into the forest. But after we had eaten the dwarves seem to be more tense since only Fili returned and not Bilbo nor Kili. Something was wrong. I turn around to see Fili frantically talking to Thorin. Then the dwarves upjumped, carrying weapons. I can assure you we are not going to war. Thorin walked towards me, it caught my eye. I knew he was coming.

"Climb a tree," He commanded.

"What?" I say. Was I questioning his orders?

"Do as I say. Climb a tree," He command, I raise an eyebrow in confusion, "And shoot them with your arrows."

I follow the dwarves into the depths of the forest. My bow in my hand at arrow-rest. I had never killed a troll before.

"Ever killed a troll before?" Thorin asks. We are standing near thick tree and I as I begin to acknowledge his question.

"Yeah, loads," I lied, looking a different direction so i could pull a face. I don't think he noticed.

Grabbing each branch and pulling myself up to another branch. I check how how I was by looking. I was high enough, my stomach trembled a bit as I stared at the soil. I look ahead to see three trolls. They were ugly. Like all three of them had a hunchback, round circular fat nose, dry flakey skin making crevices for wrinkles. Troll disgusted me. They old worn down clothes that barely covered anything.

I grabbed my bow from my shoulder, that I had put on before I climbed the tree. How do you expect me to climb a tree with a bow in hand? My hand feels the feather-fletching of my dozens arrows. I grab one on put it at arrow rest. The dwarves upjumped from the dark bushes. They sounded like we going to war. Which we weren't. I pull the arrow back to the right corner of my emerald green eyes. I wait for the right moment. There were dwarves everything fighting, using maces, swords, axes and even slingshots. It was too complicated, I couldn't think and my mind wasn't at ease. I was so confuddled.

My eyes catch Thorin slashing the troll's arms, Dwalin swinging his mace or axe (whatever it was) violently across a trolls face. Teeth flying out. Ori firing rocks at the troll's eyes. Then my eyes catch Bilbo grabbing one of the trolls knife. The one with the overalls. After setting the horses free from their doom, I see a troll notice Bilbo's actions. I see the trolls scrunched up face. Now was my chance. The arrow let go from my hand as i took a deep breath slowly. It flew through air whizzing into the trolls upper arm. It yelped. Such a high pitched voice.

That caused the attention of another troll. The one with the thin underwear. I look , dead in its ugly eyes. In a matter moments I put my bow back on my shoulder as the troll swings its huge fat arm, to try knock me off the branch. I duck, being particularly agile.

"Come here!" The troll with the dainty underwear exclaims, trying to grab my ankles. I wasn't stable on the branch. It would either fall off or I would fall.

Then...

I jumped of the branch and into the troll's face.
