Michael and Myra wasted no time in getting married. They flew their family from the United States to attend the wedding in Germany.
Myra always thought she would end up lonely. Camped out in a house, hoarding stamps and coins with her twenty pet cats. Maybe she would have been sitting in a rocking chair knitting. Instead she was preparing for a wedding to the man she loved.
Anaya was excited for Myra chose her as the Maid of Honor. Her friend Mylene was a bridesmaid along with her closet cousin Alexa. She always wanted to see her sister get married, but never would she have imagined it would be out of America.
Myra was calm until the day of the wedding. She sat in the dressing room with her dress beside her. She stated out the window, admiring the view from above.
"Myra, you have to get dressed," announced Anaya as the time for the wedding was getting near and all Myra wore was a baggy shirt with a pair of shorts and no shoes or socks. Her hair was curly mess from her recent shower.
"I know," sighed Myra. "I'm just nervous. What if I fall, or forget my vows?"
"You'll be fine. Now, come on, let me fix your hair," Anaya gestured and Myra reluctantly followed.
Anaya blow dried and flattened her sisters hair. She didn't do anything else until Myra changed into her wedding dress.
The dress reached the floor. It was a plain white with designs littered across the fabric. A silver belt crossed her waist, fitting snugly. She wore a strapless bra due to the dress being made without any straps.
When Myra had put the dress on she forced her sister back into the chair. With a curling wand she curled the ends of her hair slightly. Then, with a large amount of bobby pins and a hair clip, she styled it into a nice looking bun. Some of her bangs crossed her face but were swept to the side to look more elegant.
Mylene did Myra's makeup. She went with a silver that faded to a dark color. She also made sure it went with Myra's skin tone. She used a small amount of eyeliner to add to the look.
On her lips Mylene used a dark red color. She then painted Myra's nails a silver color to make the outfit go all together.
Myra buckled the heels on to her ankles. She then stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. From the dress that hugged her waist to the hair and makeup, she felt as though she was living one of her many childhood dreams of being a princess.
