Myra managed to release her first album. With convincing from Michael she released T.K.O. as a single. The song stayed lodged in the number one spot for ten weeks.
Another song on her album was called Formation. It didn't exactly get the number one spot but it made it to third. Paris, a song that she wrote in twenty minutes in the early morning hours, clinched the number five spot originally but climbed to the number two spot.
Nobody didn't expect such a new artist like Myra to make it up there. After all, she wasn't the top rising star, but with the album sales, she fame seemed to skyrocket.
Many things changed in her life. One of them was Michael buying acres of land and house. What he planned to do with the land Myra didn't know.
With the two of them pretty much dating, she wasn't that sure. They exchanged the occasional 'I love you' and kisses but that was it. She didn't know what Michael thought of where they were.
It took Myra a large amount of persuasion to move in with him. Finally, in the summer of 1987, Myra moved from her home of three years to the place Michael named Neverland after the fictional land from Peter Pan.
The place seemed magical from the first foot you set inside. She saw animals of different varieties and even a fairground in the backyard. Everything amazed her.
Michael lead her around the massive house. In total there was six bedrooms with seven bathrooms. The closets were big enough to house their assortments of clothes and then some more space. A cinema was built into the house along with a tennis court.
Michael and Myra shared a bedroom. Michael worked on his newest album which Myra was able to listen in on. He hadn't thought of the title for the album and had many names brainstormed, but he seemed to be leaning towards Bad as the name.
Myra began working on a new album. She only had half a song written while Shaylynn prepared Myra for her Formation tour. She only had a few days before she flew with the entire crew and performers to the opening set in New Orleans.
Myra lay in their shared bed. She wore an old high school shirt with a pair of sweatpants. Her pair of slippers covered her feet. A notebook was in her lap as she twirled a pen through her fingers.
The page was more covered in small doodles than actual lyrics. Normally she found it easy to write song lyrics but this time she found it harder to do. She doubted that the miniature rabbits, the only thing she could draw and it not look terrible, counted as lyrics.
Michael soon joined her on the bed. He wore a simple flannel with a pair of jeans since he hadn't changed into pajamas yet.
"What are you writing?" He asked as Myra leaned her head on his shoulder.
"A song," she answered simply.
She allowed Michael to read what she had wrote. On the top was two titles she was stuck between choosing -- Chandelier or Night. Each seemed like a good possibility.
"Call it Chandelier," he said first, handing her the notebook back. "It sounds nicer than Night."
Trusting his instincts, she circled Chandelier while she crossed out Night. She went back to twirling the pen through her fingers.
"Michael?" She asked and he answered with a small hum. "What are we in this relationship? Are we friends or are we dating because I'm honestly confused."
"I'd like to think that were dating," Michael confessed. "I honestly really love you and spending time with you."
"I love you too," Myra smiled.
That was the first time either of them had said I love you. It was always shown by the hugs and kisses they shared but never was it spoken.
"So, Myra, will you properly be my girlfriend?" Michael asked with a smile.
"I will," Myra confirmed as their hands locked together.
