BeastBoy x Reader

Hey squad! I'm starting to feel better but I'm still sick. I thought of this earlier, I was also having a writers block, so anyways, on with the story! 💙

(Y/N) P.O.V
You were sitting on the couch with Gar playing video games and pushing each other to mess with the other. You were playing a racing game and you were winning. "Come one (N/N), you're cheating some how!" Garfield whined. "Nuh-uh, I'm just better than you." You say rather confidently. He growls in frustration, then you notice a very mischievous smile find its way on his face.

'Oh no, this can't be good, he's up to something.' Was your only thought. He then starts to tickle your side, and you being the extremely ticklish person you are, start to laugh uncontrollably. "N-no, BB, St-stop, please! H-have mercy!" You manage to say through laughter. He stops and continues playing, you noticed that he raced past you while you were laughing and beat you.

You shake your head and smile. "Look who's cheating now." He gasps dramatically and places a hand over his chest like he'd been accused. "I would never, (N/N)!" You chuckle at him and continued to play the game, hoping to find a way to get him back. You both were getting close to the finish line now and he was slightly ahead of you.

This was the perfect opportunity to test if what you were gonna do next will work. To be honest, you did have a crush on him, but he was basically your best friend. You weren't entirely sure if it would work but it was worth a shot.

You scooted closer to him and he didn't seem to notice, you placed a kiss on his cheak. He completely froze dropping his controller and you raced past him. He stared at the screen in shock and looked at you afterwards. His face was priceless, you couldn't help but chuckle at him. "That was payback for before, Gar, you had it coming." You stated. He blushed intensely at this. "C-cheater! Not cool! You pulled at my heart guts!"
"Hey, you started it mister." You say pushing his chest with your index finger. "Noted." He groans and pushes you playfully. You push back. This continues until you push him and run away, and him following after.

You run into a hallway and look behind you, he was gaining on you. You look ahead again only to barley dodge Robin and Jaime walking along the hallway. "Sorry!" You called after passing them. "Whoa, easy there chica! Don't get hurt." You hear Jaime call after.

You turn a corner sharply and Garfield manages to grab your wrist, but when you turned, your foot slipped and you fell, causing him to fall over you. There was silence except yours and Gar's heavy breathing from running. You had calmed down and were taking in your surroundings. Your cheaks were on fire now. Gar noticed this and quickly got up, pulling you with him, he didn't let go of your hand though.

He started to blush again and you were curious to where this was going. "(Y/N), I-I...." He looked like he was trying to find the words to say what he needed to but they wouldn't come. You smile at him and you felt you couldn't take it anymore. "Oh, just come here you." You pulled him in and kissed him shortly. When you pulled away he was smiling like a kid on Christmas. "I love you, (Y/N). I have for a while, but I didn't know how to tell you." He said, not once looking away from your eyes. "I love you too, I was in the same boat as you." His smile widens even more if that was even possible.

He pulls you in for another kiss and this one lasted longer. He snakes his arms around your waist and pulls you closer to him. You wrap yours around his neck and play with his hair.

You eventually broke away to breathe again. You stayed in each others arms for a while until you hear, "Eww, PDA!" You turn around to see Bart smirking at you. You shook your head and threw your sneaker at him. It hits him in the shoulder and he laughs and runs away before you could throw anything else at him.

"Sooo, would it be okay if I asked you on a date? Say, tomorrow at two?" You smile at Gar, "It would be more than okay, where are we going though?"
"Noted, I was thinking either the park or the beach." He said rather thoughtfully. "Cool, can't wait. I'll leave the decision to you then." You gave him a peck on the lips and let go of him. He let's go of you and grabs your hand and intertwined his fingers with yours.

You spend the rest of the evening watching some of Gar's strange action movies and some of your favorite movies while cuddling. Needless to say, you loved your goofy new boyfriend just as much as he loved you.

Hey squad! Hope you liked that one, I know it's shorter than the other ones, but like I said, I was having a writers block and just came up with this.

*Music-chan is having a staring contest with Garfield* "You know I'm gonna win right?"
"Pfft, yeah right Music-chan, I'm the one who's gonna win" *Music-chan blows in Garfield's  face and he blinks instinctively* "Hey! That's cheating!"
"But I won! Ha ha!" *Music-chan  kisses Gar on the cheak and leaves*

*sings* And now it's time to say goodbye!
