You flopped back onto the couch after a rough training session. You had been wiping your face and neck with a towel, your dog sitting at your feet waiting patiently for you to pet them. You smiled at them, looking around the room quickly before setting the towel down.

"Who's a good dog?" You cooed, petting their ears. They waged their tail happily as you kept petting them. You baby talked your dog and they kept getting more and more excited.

"Yes, you're a good doggie. You're such a good doggie."

"(Y/N)? Wh-"

You turned to your boyfriend's voice and you could see the jealous betrayal on his face. "(Y/N)!" He whined, giving you big sad puppy eyes. "I thought you loved me!" He continued.

"Gar, I do. But I also love (Dog's name). They're just as much my family as you are my boyfriend." You explained with a sheepish smile. He pouted at you. You rolled your eyes, walking up to him. "Just because I give some love to my dog, it doesn't mean I'm going to leave you. I love you too much for that." You gave a small peck to his nose. "Okay?"

"Promise?"

"Cross my heart."

"I'll only forgive you if you kiss me." He said, still slightly pouting. You could see that he was fighting a smile. You complied, cupping his cheeks and giving him a soft kiss. He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you slightly closer.

When you pulled away, you gave a small smile. "Better?"

"Much better, Babe." He grinned.
