Roy's P.O.V

It was a slow day, surprisingly literally nothing was going on, I mean no one, not even thugs were out causing trouble. That just made me even more irritated. "(S/H/N), B-09" anounced the zeta tube.

"Hey Roy, you look rather.....unsettled. Slow day?" She asked. Just what I need, my.....crush/friend, (Y/N), she would know how to move the day along. I wasn't gonna show her that. "What, pfft, no." I lied. I could tell she saw right through me. "Uh-huh, yeah, sure." She said sarcastically. I was right, damnit. "Well I WAS gonna just hang out here, but...." She said walking twards the training area. (Why is it always the training room?) "Maybe you and I can do a little sparring in the training room?" 'Oh this is gonna be good.' I thought. Her (E/C) looking back at me.

"Everyone get to the main area, Now!" Batman's voice boomed in the mountain. Damn, I knew it was too quiet.

(Y/N) P.O.V

You had noticed how.... unusually calm it was today. You had a very bad feeling rising in your gut. You hurriedly suited up in your (F/C) uniform, grabbed your gear and meet up with everyone else in the main area. Batman was already there waiting to give Intel.

(Time skip, brought to you by laziness)

Apparently, Scarecrow had abducted people as for why was, unknown, you did know that it was held in the abandoned warehouse not very far from the mountain. (Why is it always warehouses? Idk) You could hear screaming and.....gunshots? The bad feeling you had earlier was slapping you in the face. Roy had noticed this and looked at you concerned. "You ok, (S/H/N)?" You shook your head. "I can't shake this feeling, it's not.....explainable." You sighed. It seemed like now was a good time to head in, everyone else was doing the same. When you got inside, it was suddenly dead quiet. You could hear a pin drop at this point.

Maniacal laughter was heard all around the room, you realized something. "RED ARROW! COVER YOUR MOUTH, FEAR TOXINS ARE EVERYWHERE! DON'T BREATHE IT IN!!" It was too late, you hear screaming coming from Roy, you wondered if the rest of the team was infected too. You ran over to Roy, he was in fighting stance and aimed an arrow at you, he was sweating and shaky.

Roy's P.O.V

One moment I was next to (Y/N), now I'm getting ready to fight Scarecrow, he was laughing. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO (S/H/N)!!" He simply moved to the side and revealed (Y/N) on the floor, dead. I screamed, I aimed an arrow at him and shot. He moved closer to putting an arm on my shoulder.

I blinked and saw that it was (Y/N), who's arm was on my shoulder, not Scarecrow. "Wake up you idiot, it's me!!" She was panting and holding her side with her other arm. Oh god it was just an illusion. She placed a bandana over my mouth and nose, she smiled weakly and collapsed, I caught her before she hit the ground.

"Oh, God what have I done?! Stay with me, please don't go!" Holding back tears. "Good your back, I'm not going anywhere, you can't get rid of me that easily." She was loosing blood and it was puddling underneath her. Her suit was stained dark red, she was starting to turn pale.

(Y/N) P.O.V

Your vision was getting blurry, you could tell that Roy was holding back tears. "Why did you do that?"
"Come on, I couldn't let you suffer like that, not again." With that, you slipped into darkness.

------------(Le time skip, cause idk what else to write)--------------------------------------

You were woken to the sound of beeping, it was so bright, once you got used to it, you fully opened your eyes only to see a hospital room and a sleeping Roy next to you. You heard his soft breathing and a slight snore.

You found this very sweet and adorable. You slightly rested your hand on his head and pet his hair. It was surprisingly soft. He quickly shot his eyes open and sat up. He looked like he hadn't slept in ages. This was heartbreaking to see.

"(Y-Y/N)!" He pulled you into a hug, minding your injury. "Hey there, how long was I out?" There was a long silence. "T-two weeks." He said pulling away. "That is not as bad as you made it sound." You said surprised. "It was my fault, how could I have done that to you? After you passed out, Scarecrow was about to kill us, but the team made it just in time and took care of it, there was blood everywhere!" You just rolled your eyes and smiled.

"It wasn't your fault, you were under the influence of the Fear Toxin, I don't regret what I did either. I would gladly take much worse for you." He looked surprised at this and you just realized that you had told him your true feelings. You put your hand over your mouth and blushed bright red.

He chuckled and pressed his lips to yours gently like you were going to break if he didn't. You melted into the kiss and pulled away for air. He rested his forehead on yours. "I love you, (Y/N)." You smile and say, "I love you too, you have no idea how long I've waited for you to do that."
"Trust me, I've wanted to do that for a while." He nodded. You scooted over enough for there to be room and patted the space next to you.

Without hesitation, he got in and lied next to you. You rested your head on his chest and listened to the comforting sound of his heartbeat. After a while, you both feel asleep like that.

No one's P.O.V

The team had decided to check on (Y/N) and Roy. That boy had been at the hospital ever since she got there. It was completely obvious how Roy had felt about (Y/N). When they got there, (Y/N) was awake and just scooted  over to let Roy lie next to her.

Everyone snickered and walked out of the hospital. "I ship it!" M'gann shouted and jumped in the air. The rest nodded in agreement.

Hey guys hope you enjoyed that, it was fun to write and I just couldn't get the idea out of my head. I don't know how many stories will be on this 'book' but I'll still be writing. I thank my friend for helping me get started on this, she is like the most amazing friend EVER. *sings* And now is time to say goodbye!
