Matt POV
I was in science class and the teacher gave an assignment. It would be a big project that is done over the course of the school year. Either a Giant teaches a Human something or a Human teaches a Tiny something. The something could be literally anything. Typing on a Giant computer keyboard, teaching a Tiny to ride a bike, teaching a Tiny to swim-'can Tinies not swim?' You could teach however many Tinies/Humans you wanted, as long as you teach them all the same thing.
Jack and I talked after the assignment was handed out.
"I t'ink Felix is gonna teach me sumthin'," Jack said, looking at the Giant.
"Yeah. It'll probably be typing on a Giant keyboard or something," Felix said.
"Jack, could I teach Sam something along with Nate?"
"Sure. What would ya teach?" Jack asked.
"It would be a challenge, but I could try to teach them to swim," I was actually curious on how hard it would be to teach a Tiny something like that.
"Okay. Ye can try," Jack said.
"Can I come over after school?" I asked.
"Nate's there anyways," Jack reminded me.
"Oh yeah."
After school, Jack and I went to his house and the Tinies were watching YouTube, and luckily neither of them had red paint on their neck that looked like a hickey. They were watching a Couples React that Jack and his girlfriend had been in about RelationshipGoals. We came over and paused the video.
"Hey, how was your day?" I asked them.
"Good. How was school?" Sam asked.
"Good," I copied her.
"In Science, we were given a big project meant to be done over the year, of either being taught by a Giant how to do something, or as a Human, teach a Tiny how to do something."
"Cool. What're you doing?" Nate asked, probably knowing he would be involved in it.
"You're allowed to teach more than one Tiny the same thing, so I thought maybe I could teach both of you," I paused and looked at them.
"How to swim."
"WHAT?" they yelled. Sam's yell was excited and Nate's was like I was going to teach him how to take care of a cat.
"It'll go slowly. We have all school year," I told my Tiny gently.
"O-okay," he sounded uncomfortable.
"You don't have to if you really don't want to. I just want you to try getting in the water once before you decide. Is that fair?" I asked him."...okay," the Tiny's whisper was barely audible.
