Nate POV
We got to the restaurant and waited for a while. Tinies don't have a good concept of time, but I know how long five minutes is. We waited more than five minutes. We waited about twenty, I think. We got sat down at this special table that has a Tiny-size table on top of a Human table. Sam sat across from me.
"What kind of pizza do you want?" Sam asked.
"Pepperoni," I decided.
Sam had just washed her hair before we left, and it was in a ponytail. She was wearing a white dress that was plain except the lace at the end, and it had no sleeves. She wasn't wearing leggings or pants and she was wearing high heels I didn't know she had. She was beautiful.
My boring black hair was neatly brushed and I was wearing a white shirt with buttons I could barely do up along with boring black pants and new shoes.
"You look really pretty," I told her.
"Thanks. You look nice too," Sam clearly lied.
A waitress came by asking us what we all want to drink. I looked at the options and chose Coca-Cola. Sam chose something called Iced Tea. Jack got Coca-Cola as well, and Matt got Diet Coke. A few minutes later the drinks were given to us and the Humans ordered the pizza.
We had to wait. After a few minutes I was bored and started talking to Sam. The Humans stayed quiet, going on their phones.
"What's your favourite music type?" I asked her. She thought for a while.
"Anything but Pop or that annoying music that's called Metal I think because it makes my head hurt," she answered.
"I like Rock music if it's not too loud," I decided.
"What's it like living with Jack since he's so loud?" I asked.
"He doesn't yell too much, but I always wear earplugs because it makes my head hurt either way when he does. It can get really loud," she informed me.
"This restaurant is really quiet," I noticed.
"Yeah. The Humans are being really quiet."
"Think they're listening to us?" I asked. We stared up at Matt and Jack as a pleasant aroma of fresh pizza was placed in front of us.
After eating pizza and talking, Matt and I went home since I was pretty tired. I would've stayed up all night if I could be with Sam.
Before I went to sleep, Matt asked me a question.
"Nate, would you know what I was talking about if I asked you how your date went? Not your day, your date," Matt pointed out a difference between the two words. I got confused."What's a date?"
