Mark POV
We arrived at Felix's house and Jack informed us that Sam and Nate, the Tinies, had fallen asleep on the bus.
"I hope they're not scared of how big everything is to them," I said. I didn't want them to be scared.
"How tall are they?" Felix referred to the Tinies.
"Sam's three inches tall, and Nate is three and a half inches tall," Matt answered.
"That's so small," I whispered. That was so impossibly tiny compared to my seventy-five feet of height.I heard an almost inaudible yawn and shifted my attention as Nate woke up. He rubbed his eyes, said something I couldn't hear, and suddenly became much more alert and appeared to be panicking. I stopped.
"What is it?" Matt asked.
"W-w-where's Sam?!" I heard the Tiny demand in a panicked tone from Matt's hand.
"Felix, stop," I noticed that Felix had continued walking. Nate's hands shot over his sensitive ears as I spoke. He was probably terrified. It always saddened me to think that to Tinies, we're probably deafening, our hands probably go on for miles to them, and we could just squish them and not even know."What is it?" Felix came over to me. Nate saw Felix's hand and jumped off Matt's hand onto Felix's, not giving us enough time to try and stop him. He ran to Jack's feet and Jack picked him up, confused.
Nate ran to where Sam was sleeping on Jack's hands and seemed to be trying to wake her. She woke up, confused like the rest of us, and Nate relaxed and gave her a tight hug, whispering to her and running his fingers through her hair. My heart melted then and there.
