Sam POV

After that event, we went home.

"Jack!" I yelled as soon as I saw him.

"Sam!" Jack replied with the same amount of enthusiasm.

"Matt!" Nate yelled, and we all laughed.

"How was it?" Jack asked.

"It was good, but I got into an argument with Ian and there was a lockdown," Matt said. Jack's eyes widened at the second part.

"Hwy?" "I don't know, but I asked the teacher after and he said it wasn't a drill..."

"HWAT?" Jack yelled and my ears rang.

"Jack..." I mumbled as I covered my ears.

"Sorry," he whispered.

"I don't know," Matt repeated.

"Can we, uh, go somewhere else..." Nate said, moving his hands away from his ears.

"....and you guys can talk about...whatever?" he continued.

"Sure," the Humans let us go.

We went to the kitchen and got on the counters.

"That was scary earlier," Nate spoke.

"The lockdown? Yeah," I said.

"Yeah. What was the scariest part for you?" Nate asked.

"When they banged on the wall and I wasn't allowed to reply," I admitted.

A few minutes later, Jack walked in and Matt followed. "Tomorrow Jack has to go to the school for the same thing you guys did, the project, but with Giants instead of Tinies," Matt started. Nate and I nodded.

"An' we're goin' to go to the Giants' side of town to hang out after the class..." Jack continued. Wait. Where is this going?

"We thought you guys would want to come along," Matt finished enthusiastically.
Nate and I looked at each other with wide eyes.

"N-no t-thanks," Nate stuttered.

"Y-yeah, we c-can s-stay h-h-h-here," I agreed.

"W-we do it e-every day," Nate remembered.

"Mhm. Usually we're not that far away," Matt informed us.

"S-s-s-so?" Nate asked.

"We're going to take you. No ifs, ands-"

"It's gonna be so loud there!" I interrupted.

"It'll be super hard to climb anything!" Nate added.

"Samantha. Nathan," Matt quieted us. Nate's full name is Nathan?

"I'm sorry, but you have to go."

"Bu-"

"No." Matt cut off Nate.

"We'll make sure Maerk and Felix won't hurtcha," Jack said, putting up a pinky finger.

"You promise," I said, reaching for the pinky."Promise."
