Nate POV

We went to meet up with Jack at the school, and Matt brought Sam and I over to an area under these huge trees that created even huger shadows that go on for miles! The grass went up to my neck! It was scary to think about how big the Giants were.

An earthquake started and Sam and I ran onto Matt's hand and he stood up.
"Hey," Jack said, coming over on someone else's hand.

"Hi Jack!" Matt said, stepping onto the same hand as Jack was. No no no...I sat down on Matt's hand and hugged my knees. Sam must have sensed my fear because she hugged me.

"Matt, t'is' Maerk, an' y'know Felix," Jack pointed way up. I looked up as high as I could and barely saw the collars of shirts. I couldn't see their faces and that made me uneasy. Also, looking up was hurting my neck. Jack moved his hand up.

"This is Sam, and that's Nate," Matt introduced us. He spoke softly to us for the next part.

"Nate, Sam, that's Mark, and that's Felix," I tried to glance even higher. Mark had brown eyes and Felix had blue eyes, but I didn't see what either of them actually looked like.

"Hi, I'm Mark," Mark's voice was soft and deep, but I covered my ears out of instinct.

"H-h-hi," Sam stuttered.

"Hi," I was sure the Giants couldn't hear me whisper.

"I'm Felix," another voice said.

"You guys okay?" Jack asked. I shook my head. Jack handed me to Matt.

"They're so small," I heard Mark whisper in awe.

"Nate, what's wrong?" Matt asked as he began to pet my hair. I moved his finger off.

"J-j-just...I can't actually...s-s-see them...you know? They're so much...b-b-b-b-bigger than y-y-you..." Matt covered me with his hands and I heard him tell the Giants what the problem was.

"Here," Mark's voice said and Matt uncovered me and there was a huge phone with a picture on it.

"That's me," Mark told me, trying to be quiet. Mark had black hair that was red on top and dark brown eyes behind thin glasses. Then he moved the phone to show Sam and I saw Felix. Felix had blue eyes and blondish hair.

"Should we go to my place or your place?" Felix seemed to be asking Mark.

"Thomas probably has friends over, so your place would probably be better," Mark answered.

"Okay," Felix started walking. He was really fast. I clung onto Matt's hand with the tightest grip I could manage.

The Giant's Public Transit was extremely loud. Despite having earplugs in, I was easily extremely dizzy, there was a buzzing in my ears and skull, and I, and probably Sam as well, passed out before the end of the ride.
