Ellington’s POV

I was sitting on the couch almost in tears. I was staring at a picture of Rydel that has been by the couch on a table for almost 3 years. I looked into her eyes and a tear ran down my cheek and right onto Rydel’s face down the picture frame and off the frame.

“I’m not worth the tears.” I turned around immediately and saw Rydel. I jumped off the couch.

“Rydel?” I said wiping the tears from my face.

“Ellington you heard me. I’m not worth the tears.” Rydel said. I walked closer to her. She put her hands on my shoulder.

“Rydel I heard you at your house. I also heard you just now. Those tears were pain.”

“I know Ell. I am so sorry.”

“What’s so bad about closer than ever.” I said pulling her closer. There was like 3 inches in between us. My hands were on her waist. Her hands were around my neck.

I started leaning in. I was a inch away and she stopped me.

“Ellington I said we were closer than ever. I didn’t mean it literally.” Rydel said

“Come on.”

“Sorry.” She said and walked out the door.

I sat down on the couch again and and put my head in my hands and cried.

“Come on Ellington.” Rocky said

“Rocky how did you get in?” I said

“Ellington, Rydel left the door wide open. I could hear you crying from a block away.”

“Why are you here?”

“I came to tell you that you can stay in our guest room.”

“After what just happened I don’t think I will set foot in your house again.”

“Come on.”

“No Rocky!”

“Look Ellington,She is gonna get over it. Either that or the minute you see her at our house she will ask to talk to you.”

“Fine one night.”

“YAY!! see you at 5:30”

“Got it.”

Then he was gone. It was 4:30 so I went to get ready. I got everything ready and left.

~At Lynch’s House~

Rydel’s POV

I opened the door and Ellington was standing there with a sleep over bag.

“Boys.” Ellington said

“I…..I Don't m-mind” I said

“I can go… You know if you want.”

“Don’t be silly.”

“Ok.” He walked inside. “Where are all the boys?”

“Out.”

“Oh I bet this is some sort of plan.”

“Probably.” We sat on the couch. I put my hand Ellington’s knee. “Look Ellington….. I am sorry.”

“Don’t be.” He kissed my cheek. “I am gonna go put my stuff in the guest room.”

“Ok.” Then he was gone. Damn Rydel!!!!
