Chapter 21

Rydel’s POV

I’ve been dating Ellington for 2 weeks now and it’s the best! Ellington has been sleeping on the air mattress in my room so he can wake me up when I start crying. He is so freaking sweet. Life gets harder everyday. I don’t think he knows how much this means to me. He is tired all day. He sleeps almost till about 2 in the afternoon everyday. I go to bed about 10 at night and he stays up all night to watch me. He waits for me to cry. I wake up in the morning and he is awake already.

I’ve been sitting downstairs waiting for him to wake up. I’ve just been staring at the hallway waiting for him to be there.

“Rydel?” I looked up to see Ellington standing there smiling.

“Sorry. Good morning sweetie.” I got up and walked over to him. He grabbed my hands and pulled me closer to me.

“Good morning beautiful.” Ellington kissed my cheek.

“You know that you keep sleep when I am.” Ellington had a confused look on his face.

“What?”

“Ellington, This is so sweet what you are doing. But you need to sleep when it’s dark outside.”

“No Rydel. I want to be there for you.”

“You still can.”

“Rydel, I’m fine.”

“I just worry about you.” I looked into his eyes. He leaned down and kissed me. I kissed back. The kissed lasted about a minute. Ellington pulled away and smiled down at me.

“Don’t worry about me.” Ellington gave me another quick kiss. He walked over to couch and grabbed the tv remote and turned it on. I sat down next to him. He puts his arm around my shoulder.

Riker walked into the room and saw us. He came and sat down next to me and laughed. I looked at him and he grinned.

Ellington’s POV

Am I good enough for Rydel? I have no idea! This is so confusing! I need help. I looked over at Riker who was smiling like an idiot. I stared at the door. Rydel put her hand on my leg and looked up at me and smiled.

“It’s gonna be ok.” Rydel said.

“I know.” I said.

I looked back at the screen. I turned on disney channel and Austin and Ally was next. Ross walked in and sat down..

“I’m glad you support me but you don’t have to do it when I’m around!” Ross said.

“We aren’t supporting you. We’re just bored!” Riker said.

“Yeah Ross. We are extremely bored and this is the only good show on.” I said.

I looked around the room. Ross was sitting there watching himself. Talia walked inside and went to sit on his lap. He wrapped his arms around her waist and she laid back as she watched her boyfriend on the screen. I looked away from them and at Rocky who had appeared there with his girlfriend Alexa. They were cuddled up in a chair giggling. I looked  over at Riker who was on his phone texting his girlfriend. Ryland walked in with Savannah.

I watched Rydel laughed at the show. She would smile and sometimes tear up at how proud she was of Ross.  She looked at me at smiled. She grabbed my hand a slightly squeezed it. She snuggled up next to me. I put my arm around her and pulled her closer to me.

“I love Austin and Ally!” Talia said.

“You are so adorable!” Ross said kissing her cheek.

“It’s a really good show. Good job Ross.” Savannah said.

“He did do a great job.” Ryland said kissing the top of her head.

“I’m super proud of my little bro.” Riker said.

“Ross you should be super happy with how it all turned out!” Alexa said.

“Yeah dude. You are AWESOME in this show!” Rocky said pulling Alexa closer to him. I looked down at Rydel and she was crying.

“Ross… I’m so proud. I really want you to know that. I love you!” Rydel said. Ross and her got up and hugged. She came back and sat down.

“You grew up so fast dude!” I said. Ross nodded.

We all kept watching. We laughed, We cried and we all smiled.
