Chapter 6

"Halo were here" dad said knocking on my bunk. I grabbed my phone and earphones before sliding out. "The guys already went in I had to get something so they had me get you" dad said. I nodded and decided I wanted a sweater.

"Hey dad?" "Yeah Halo?" "Can I borrow a sweater?" I asked. "Yeah I'll be right back." Dad returned a couple seconds later with his black hoodie and handed it to me. "Is that one okay?" I nodded and thanked him before sliding it on.

I put my earphones in and pressed play. Another You by Of Mice & Men came on. I placed my phone in the pouch and walked with dad. I looked outside and saw some fans already waiting to get in.

"Hey dad can I talk to some fans? I'll be careful" I asked. Maybe talking to some of them with help bring up my mood or maybe it'll worsen it I'll just go with him. "Actually never mind"

I pulled the hood on and walked next to dad as some fans screamed dads name. Dad slid his hand into mine and pulled me through the fans who crowded around us.

I walked behind dad and we stopped holding hands. As I walked I felt someone grab me and I was jerked back. Panic filled my body and I pulled out my earphones.

"Go join the other fans" a security guard said and grabbed my arm harshly. I barely managrd to yell out a quick "DAD!" Before he picked me up. I kicked and struggled to get out of his arms.

"Wait!" Dad yelled causing the guy to halt. Dad ran over to us and explained to the security guard that I was his daughter. "Sorry, you look really suspicious with that hood on" he said and let me go.

I grabbed dads hand so that another mishap like that doesn't happen again and joined him in the green room. "Hey Halo you feel better? It's a real bummer with Jace" Brendon said. "Oh my- how many times do I have to say I'm not sad about Jace?" I asked as I took a seat on the couch. Brendon raised his hands up innocently and walked out of the room.
"I'm gonna take a nap" I said and laid on the couch.

Just as I was about to fall asleep my phone rang. I groaned and pulled my phone out of the pouch. "Someone's grumpy today" Zack said an lifted my legs before sitting down.

"Zack do me a favor?" I asked. "Yeah?" "Can you talk to Tyler for me? I'm not feeling up to talking with anyone right now. Oh and when your done press play on my Of Mice & Men playlist" I said and handed him my phone.

I closed my eyes and waited for my music to come back on. You're Not Alone came on and I thanked Zack. He patted my leg and stood up, probably going to watch Panic! At The Disco play.

I want to go back to the bus. I walked over to the side stage where the guys were standing and tapped dad. "Yeah Halo?" "Um can I-" I stopped talking as I heard Brendon say he was gonna sing Trade Mistakes. "Um after this song can I go back to the bus?" I asked. "Yeah I'll have Brendon take you this is his last song" dad said. I nodded and sat down.

I leaned against dads leg and listened as Brendon sang. Its been a long day. "If I could trade mistakes for sheep count be away before you sleep......" I could feel myself falling asleep and stood up so I wouldn't fall asleep.

"You okay there Halo?" Rian asked and place a hand on my back. I leaned into him and shook my head no. "What's wrong?" "I-" "Five minuets All Time Low" the manager said interrupting me. "Got it- what's wrong Halo?" I just shook my head and rubbed my eyes trying to get rid of my sleepiness.

"Halo go with Brendon to the bus, here you can play on my phone if you want" dad said and handed me his phone. Brendon came off stage and walked over to me. "Let's go on an adventure!" Brendon yelled but his big cheesy smile faltered when he saw me. "Halo what's wrong?" I shook my head and wished the guys good luck before walking with Brendon.

When we got outside Brendon stopped me. "Hey kiddo, what's wrong like seriously. I'm not gonna take that 'I'm fine just tiered' bullshit ok? There's something wrong and I wanna know. I can't help you if you keep me in the dark" he said placing a hand on my shoulder. "Don't you need to shower?" I asked.

"Ok fine but when I get out of the shower we're talking ok?" I nodded and put the code in on the bus. "Go take a shower you smell" I said and pushed Brendon in the general direction of the shower. "Fine, pushy are we?" He said and walked into the bathroom.

"Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone!" "Go take a shower!" I said then through a throw pillow at him. He finally closed the door and I sat on the couch.

Soph walked up to me and I smiled a little at her. I scratched under her chin and the side of her ear while she leaned on my thigh. As I was giving her love and affection her ears popped up.

Tears started to flow down my face, I guess I shouldn't keep things bottled up. Soph jumped up and cuddled up to me. I wrapped my arms around her accepting her comfort.

As I was petting her head her ears popped up and she turned her attention to the front of the bus. Fear ran through me and I wiped my tears even though they wouldn't stop and it was pretty much pointless.

Did we close the bus door? Did we lock it?! Crap I don't think we did. I jumped up and walked over to the front, Sophie in front of me and peeked in. I froze and Soph stood protectively in front of me.

"Hi"
