I woke up on the couch, alone. I pulled the blanket off me and stretched. I'm bored. I wanna go back to sleep, but I also don't want to go back to sleep. I kind of want to play guitar, but I want something to drink first.
I made my way to the kitchen and grabbed a gatorade from the fridge. Taking a drink, I walked to my bunk where I grabbed an outfit. "I'm gonna take a shower!" I got a "have fun, don't die!" From Jack before I went to the bathroom. I brushed my hair out then got in the shower, let me just say it felt amazing.
After my shower I put on my black ripped skinny jeans with a black muscule tee that had skulls on the font. I decided to blow dry my hair because I didn't want to deal with wet hair. I brushed out my hair and walked around the bus looking for my dad, hoping he'd let me play his guitar.
"Hey Zack, have you seen my dad?" Zack was playing on the Xbox with Rian. "Uh, check downstiars, he- he might be down there." Zack was concentrating on trying to kill Rian. "Kay, thanks." I was walking downstiars when Jack caught up to me.
"Hey shorty whatcha doing?" He asked. "I want to play guitar but I don't have a guitar so I'm trying to find dad-" he cut me off. "Halo I have a guitar, you can use it if you want." He stopped me from going any further. "Really?" I beamed. "Yeah come on." Jack motioned me to follow him and I did.
We got to the bunks and Jack pulled out his guitar. He started to hand it to me but pulled it back. "You have to play me a song, doesn't matter which one just play me one song." He said a smirk on his face. I crossed my arms, "I knew there was a catch. Alright Barakitty I'll play you ONE song, no more then that." I said and he smiled. "Thanks Halo!!" He then handed over his guitar.
"Let's go to the back room, theres not much room here" I said motioning for Jack to follow me. In the back room Rian and Zack had left so it was just Jack and me. "Okay Jack, what song do you want me to play?" He shrugged. "It's up to you."
I thought for a second before strumming the guitar. Clearing my thoart I started. "I've got your picture, I'm coming with you dear Maria count me in, theres a story at the bottom of this bottle and I'm the pen." Jack had a big smile on his face, I couldn't help but smile too.
"When the lights go out I wanna watch the way you take the stage by storm, the way you wrap those boys around your finger, go on and play the leader cuase you know it's what you're good at." As I sang Jack watched happily, like a kid in a candy store. I didn't really understand why it made him so happy, I wasn't that good.
"Jack sing with me." I said and he shook his head no. "Oh come on, it's just us two and besides, arn't you the back up singer?" I asked hoping he'd join in. "Take a breath don't it sound so easy? Never had a dout, now I'm going crazy watching from the floor." I motioned for him to sing. He smiled and shook his head. "Take a breath and let the rest come easy, never settle down cuase the cash flow leaves me always 'wanting more" Jack sang nonetheless and I joined in at the end.
"Cuase I've got your picture, I'm coming with you, dear Maria count me in, there's a story at the bottom of this bottle and I'm the pen, make it count when I'm the one whose selling you out, cuase it feels like stealing hearts calling your name from the crowd." Jack and I sang together, both of us smiling like crazy.
"Cuase I got your picture I'm coming with you, dear Maria count me in, there's a story at the bottom of this bottle" I finished. "That was fun" I admitted. Jack laughed, "yeah it was." I took the guitar off before standing up. I walked over to Jack and hugged him. He quickly returned the favor.
"Who knew Jack Barakitty is good for more than just drinking and being a huge, adorable, goofball?" I said laughing. He let go of the hug and stuck his tongue out at me. I did the same to him and we both luaghed.
"Wanna sing another song?" I asked Jack. "What did you have in mind?" He smiled. I thought for a second before I started to play Something's Gotta Give. Just as I was about to start Josh walked in. Of course he did. Jack smirked, "Halo look who's here." I took a deep breath, "I can see Jack, I've got eyes." Jack just laughed.
"Sorry to interrupt your jam session but Alex wanted you guys to go downstiars" Josh said flashing us a smile. "Right, we'll be right down" Jack said waving Josh off. Josh nodded and started to head downstiars.
"Let's go Halo." Jack held his hand out to me and pulled me up. I handed Jack his guitar, which he just placed on the couch, then headed for the stairs with him.
As we were walking downstiars, Josh was a few feet in front of us. "Halo you are smitten" Jack snickered. "I am not! And how do you know that word? Isn't it too big of a word to be in your vocabulary?" I harshly whispered. "I learned it from the internet- thats not the point! The point is you like him, Halo, you are head over heels for him!!" Jack harshly whispered back. I rolled my eyes, "You have no proof!" We were both talking quietly so Josh couldn't hear us.
Josh was already on the last step when Jack made a hold move. "Oh yeah?" He asked. "Josh!" Jack yelled. "Jack what are you doing?" I asked. Once Josh was off the steps he turned around to face us. We were about two steps up when Jack pushed me into Josh's arms. "Jack, what the bloody hell did you do that for?" Josh asked, his British accent thick as ever.
Jack snickered, "testing something out!" He laughed. Josh and I made eye contact for a second before I quickly got out of his arms. "Sorry Josh" I mumbled before catching up to Jack. I punched him in his arm. "Ow! Halo what was that for?" Jack hissed. "That was for being a douche!" I said before we entered the back room on the first level of the bus.
"Hey 'lexy sexy!" Jack said before sitting on my dad's lap. "Hey Jacky, what's up?" I snorted, "lexy sexy? Jacky? And you wonder why people think you're together." Jack wrapped his arms around dad, "don't listen to her baby shes just jealous." I rolled my eyes before taking a seat next to Rian.
"So we were summoned for what reason?" I asked. "We're going out for dinner right now when the bus parks, just letting you guys know" Dad said. I nodded and leaned into Rian. He put his arm around me and we all made small talk till we got to the restaurant.
