Skolris woke up the next morning in an unfamiliar place. Her room was much different from last she remembered. There were many more windows and the walls were blue. Wait, this is Antariel's room. Oh yah, i forgot, going to school as a puppy today..  yay.

Antariel opened the door a peered inside at Skolris. "Come on, hurry." Skolris stood up on shaky legs and followed Antariel down her stairs. "If i don't put you on a leash, i'll probably get in trouble." Antariel said. Go ahead.

Antariel attached a small blue collar with a leash on it to her neck. It was very uncomfortable. Then, she opened the door and Skolris followed her on the sidewalk towards the school. It was Thursday and fog hung low in the air. "Skolris, you know that you'll be getting a lot of attention and unfortunately end up being pet?" Antariel pointed out. Yes.

They arrived at the school's main gates and the guards scanned them carefully. They are obviously on high security. Antariel nodded when they let them through. "You were all over the news last night. No real pictures but many discussions and predictions.. " Antariel whispered. Great, just great! She gave her a sympathetic look.

Skolris followed her into the battle room. Almost everybody was there. The coach had not yet returned.

Someone waved at Antariel to come to them and Skolris recognized her as Joulie Beivelle. "Hey Antariel, you are Skolris's friend, right? Oh and, cute puppy! What's her name?" Joulie asked. "Her name's... Sko-Skoter. Yes Skoter!" Antariel said.

Joulie ran her fingers through her redish hair. "Cute, can i hold her?" She asked. Antariel looked at Skolris. Ugh, i dont care. Do whatever. And strange behavior may cause suspicious. Antariel looked away,"sure."

Joulie scooped her up in her arms. I should act like a real puppy.  Joulie rubbed her hand all over her head. Oh my lord. "Oh hey, Antariel, your puppy has a pretty nasty bite on her foot. That's the same place where Gildra bit Skolris yesterday..." Antariel quickly took her away. "Your welcome." She said before hurrying off as the coach entered the room.

The kids started crowding around him and asking questions. They mentioned that She wasn't here today. Why do they have to be so concerned with what I do?

It was kind of awkward hearing them talk about her. At one point, a kid said," how do we know that she isn't here right now? People think she is a shapeshifter." Now that they have the third piece of the puzzle, some people are sure that im a shapeshifter.

"Ok ok, calm down everybody. Now that there is an actual danger on our hands, it is critical that we extend battle practice." The coach said. Im the danger.

"Antariel, your up against Ariau. First group, your up." He said in a very awkward sentence.

The bAttles wore on throughout the day. They were mixed with discussions of a possible shapeshifter. When battle practice had ended, Antariel and Skolris the puppy were bombarded with attention. Some of which were aimed at Antariel about Skolris.

Skolris tugged on her leash quickly, come on Antariel's. Let's go.  Antariel nodded and escaped from the questions.

They settled outside under a tree outside of school. Ill have to return home after this. What will i tell mom?  Antariel wore a sympathetic look. "She won't go to hard on you, hopefully." She said. I hope.

Skolris walked slowly to her house. The afternoon sun scorched the back of her golden fur. Her house came into view and when she arrived, she scratched on the door.

Her mother opened the door and Skolris walked in. "Done hiding from your problems?" Her mom asked. Skolris turned into a human. "Yah.." she said while staring at her feet.

"Come on, let's sit down." Her mom said. Skolris sat heavily on the soft  cushions. "Yesterday, your school called me.... they said that during battle practice, you had gone crazy and attacked the teacher.. is this true?" Her mother asked.

Skolris looked away. "Well, yah. But is wasn't my fault! Well technically, it was. But, i had used my shape shifting abilities too much. I guess my inner animal thought it could be free and control me. And it did, but i fought back and stopped myself from attacking the coach."

Her mother's arms wrapped warmly around her in a hug. " I know you didn't mean it, and i forgive you completely. But, you know, you are all over the internet and the news channels now. They are talking about a 'possible shapeshifter' ". Her mom said, worried.

"Yah, I know. Conspiracies and blah blah. I hate that stuff. Can't people just mind their own business?" Skolris growled. Her mother grabbed the tv remote and turned on the news channel. Two people were sitting at a small table in black suits. "Well, what do you think? Is there a new rare power? Even rarer then water?" A woman with long brown hair asked an older bald man.

The man took a sip from his coffee," well, how do we know the school is telling the truth? Now, picture this: girl goes up for battle. Girl loses battle. Girl attacks teacher. Some kids claim that she was growing different tails and feet. Doesn't that sound... suspiciously made up?"

The woman nodded,"we'll just have to see. That's it for CC, see a brand new episode next Thursday! See you Next week!" Then what seemed to be elevator music started playing and her mother turned off the tv. Skolris sighed.

"This is terrible. Just terrible!" Skolris growled once more.

The next day, Skolris had to pry herself out of bed and shove herself out her front door. Her mother had made it clear that she was going to battle practice today.

She was in her silver wolf form. Her head was low as she walked up her sidewalk. Hopefully, nobody had remembered her wolf form.

When she walked through the door to the room, everyone was silent. They stared at her and some of them even backed away. "Well, tell us the truth, Skolris. What are you?"
