Skolris couldn't sleep that night.

"Get that bond! The boss will want this one." The leader of the attack's words rang in her mind all night. The boss of these people collect beast bonds? What does he do with them? And those people who work with the boss, they are loyal and are willing to blow up villages for the bonds and possibly the powers of people!

     She awoke suddenly at 1:00 a.m. what's going on? She she wouldn't be able to go back to bed. Not without thinking about the attack.
  
     How about I go and scout out around the town. She opened her window and shifted into a hawk. Then, spreading her wings, Skolris dove out her window and glided on the breeze.

    She flew towards the middle of the forest, where the attack started the day before. Nothing but plants were there, not even a fly.

     She perched on a branch and scanned the area. I could have followed those people when they fled. I could have found there base... wait, what was that?!?

     Her head whipped around as a branch suddenly fell from a tree. The crack made her flinch so badly that she almost fell from her perch. She could hear her heart pounding in her chest. Hopefully the branch was just rotted and fell of natural causes....

     She watched that place for a while. A scent was resting in the air and she flew closer to take a look. Nothing. I must have missed it!

     Skolris flew back towards her house after a couple of pointless hours of searching and waited for dawn. Soon, the sun crept through the windows of her home and she wandered to her kitchen.

     She got herself some yogurt and turned on her tv. The morning news was still buzzing with the news if the bomb. Nobody had mentioned the blue dragon that had led them to it. It was Sunday morning and Skolris was going to ask Antariel about helping her with find the bombers' base. What if she refuses? What will I do then?

     Her mother had come downstairs after a while and also got yogurt and plopped down on the same couch. "You're up early, mom." Skolris noticed.

     "Well, anybody will wake up after you turn the volume up to 50 on the tv." Her mother replied bluntly. Skolris smiled guiltily and turned down the volume,"much better."

     Later that day, Skolris walked quietly towards Atariel's house and knocked on the door. "Hello, Skolris!" She smiled after opening the door. "Antariel, I have something really important to do but I need your help! Come on." She pulled her by the side of her house and explained. "Antariel, I need you to help me search for the bombers' base. I need to find it so I can take them down."

     Antariel looked uncertain for a while before answering slowly," ummm.... sssuuuurrree...... yyyooouuu are sooo very much weird Skolris but I'll come." Skolris's eyes lit up,"thanks Antariel!"

     The two girls walked towards the edge of the forest and shifted into wolves. They would blend in nicely with the rest of the wildlife.

     Their paws were muffled in the soft ground and barely made a noise. Their noses twitched as they smelled the air. Nothing. There was no trace of any of the attacks. That's so weird.

     The sun was beginning to set when they arrived at their houses. Skolris said her goodbyes to Antariel before entering her own home. "Have fun at the beach?" Her mother's voice was ringy and soft. "Yah.." Skolris shouted before grabbing a snack and hurrying to her room.

     Tonight was considered the Night of Falling Lights, an epic meteor shower burns through the night sky every 4 years on the second Sunday of March. A carnival was held in the town center and at midnight, everybody stops what they are doing and watches the Falling Lights.

     Skolris and her mom had agreed on going to the carnival with Antariel and her mom. Antariel's  dad was always working on another continent.

     Skolris put on a deep violet necklace before stepping out the door to her waiting mother. Antariel and her mom were walking towards them. Antariel's mother had accepted Skolris as a shapeshifter and she was one of the only adults who knew her human form. Hopefully, nobody would notice her as Skolris the shape Shifter. 

     They began walking towards the town central. Antariel's mother lifted her arm and spoke to a small leopard tattoo. "Come out Reed." A small leopard but big enough to ride swirled from the picture and purred at Antariel's mom. "Hop on Antariel." She said. Aw man >-<. I wish i could fly there.

     They arrived in about five or seven minutes and their parents let her and Antariel wander. Many stations were set up with games and food. There was even a large trampoline with a bungee jump. "What are we gonna do?" Skolris asked. Antariel shrugged."well, there is a really adorable bond talent show." She suggested. "Sure."

     Skolris and Antariel entered a large tent. In the middle was a stage and bright lights were set up around the walls. "Ladies and Gentle men! Welcome to our Best Beast Competition! Today, we will be sho-" suddenly the room went black.

     Confused voices could be heard from everywhere around and some people were able to escape the black successfully. "This is just some technical difficulties, no need to worry everybody!" Said a different, rough and less energetic voice. Something doesn't seem right..

     People still began to panic and she could hear shouting as they called for their kids. Everyone pushed and shoved one another as they rushed towards the exit but suddenly, two people closed it. It was now pitch black and she could hear metal clanging. "Skolris! What are we going to do?" Antariel asked worridly. Skolris shivered."i don't know, they blocked the exits and I can't see anything!" She shouted over the ruckus.

     There was then an airy and soft noise that came from all around the tent. The air seemed to be thick and dirty. Then, the world around just began to grow darker when she felt herself falling into nothingness....

     Hope you enjoyed this chapter! Finally got it uploaded!! If you read my message board, you probably saw that Im starting a new story. Its a fan fiction on the pokemon anime cuz the game rules are annoying.
