Canoe Night

Libra's POV

Hydra told us our first camp activity would begin after we ate. We were all at the mess hall munching on dinner, which consisted of sloppy joes, french fries, crisp apple slices, and soda.

"Hey Pi, why aren't you eating your sloppy joe?" I asked the shorter blonde.

"I don't eat meat," she responded.

"Do you want me to ask if there's a vegetarian option for you?"

"No, it's fine. I'm not that hungry anyway."

"I have a snack stash back in the cabin, if you want some," Taurus added.

"Thanks, I'll get some later."

"Hey, once you guys finish up head to the lake. Our first camp activity is going to be some good ol' late night canoeing."

I'm at least glad that there's a solution for Pisces, so she won't go the entire summer without eating something.

Taurus's POV

"Can anyone not swim? If so, you will need to wear a life jacket for your safety." Hydra held up the daunting yellow life jackets. I can't swim, but there's no way I want to embarrass myself by wearing one. No one else announced that they can't swim, so I'm the only one. "Alrighty, each canoe can hold two people, so I need each of you to pick a partner."

"Hey Taurus! You wanna be my partner?" I turned around to see Pisces.

"Sure," I responded.

Everyone got into groups and grabbed they canoe. There was me and Pisces, Leo and Sag, Libra and Gem, Aries and Scorpio, Virgo and Cance, and Aqua with Cap. Originally, Virgo was going with Cap, but Aqua snatched up Cap and dragged him to the canoe. Pisces began to push the canoe into the water. Once the canoe lost connection with the ground, I began to slightly freak out. Pi jumped in, making the canoe jolt back, which didn't help my 'not being able to swim' problem.

"Sooo Taurus, what do you wanna talk about?"

"I don't know, you can choose."

"Well, you do you like to do?"

"I play ukulele, I like to cook and sometimes I like doing nothing. What about you?"

"I like swimming, painting, and Tumblr."

"Cool."

"Have you ever been canoeing before?"

"Nope. Have you?"

The blonde shook her head. The ride in the canoe was mostly quiet, except for the small talk we made. Most people weren't talking either. The most prominent sounds were the water, birds chirping, the buzz of insects, and Gemini.

Leo's POV

"Sooo Sag, you see any guys you interested in?"

"N-no, I didn't really come to camp for guys. I just came so I could do some outdoorsy things."

"Oh, okay. So what outdoorsy things do you like to do?"

"I like archery and making s'mores."

"I've never done either of those."

"Really?"

"Nope. I honestly don't think I've eaten a marshmallow before."

"What?! You're serious right now?"

"As serious as fashion week."

"You just have to eat one marshmallow and food palette will be complete."

I don't know what the deal was with me eating a marshmallow, but I guess it's an important thing to Sag, so I'll do it for her. When we arrived back to land, Hydra announced that we were going to finish off the day with a traditional camp bonfire with s'mores. Tonight is the night I'm going to lose my marshmallow virginity!

A/N: I kinda went out of order with the POV order. Taurus was supposed to be after Leo, but I'll let it slide. The order I'm using for POVs are earth sign, water sign, air sign, then fire sign.
