* Hey, you guys. I said that I wouldn't do this again, but I'm apologizing early for the 1252 words you're going to read. Again I'm sorry 😓
Scorpio's POV
I anticipated spending time with Taurus for a while. She wasn't spending time with Cap, she was spending time with me. That made me feel special.
We were standing on the dock, leaning against the railing. I would steal glances at her. Man, she was beautiful. The wind would gently tousle her brown curls. The sunlight would leave a sparkle in her eyes.
"How was summer camp for you so far?" she asked me.
"Good, I guess. I meet a few people that I wouldn't mind knowing for the rest of my life."
"That's nice, you seemed like you dreaded being here for the first week."
"I did. Then I met you."
"That's sweet, but cheesy."
"Like a cheesecake?" She tried to hold back her laughter, but failed miserably.
"That is not what I meant."
"Well, how was camp for you."
"Great, actually. I made new friends and even got my first serious boyfriend." I cringe at the mention of Capricorn. Seriously, what does he have that I don't. I always thought girls liked blue eyes and I was lucky for having them. Turns out I was wrong.
"I don't get what's so special about him."
"About who?" Taurus asked me.
"Cap."
"He's just a lot of things."
"Like what?"
"He's really smart. He can finish a Rubik's cube in ten seconds. He has a birthmark on his back that looks like a bear. He has a witty sense of humor. And he plays the piano wonderfully."
"So he's some kind of impressive nerd, huh?"
She pushed playfully on my chest.
"Shut up. Me and him go nerdy as hell over the same things that people don't normally like."
"Like what?"
"Serial killers, unsolved murders, and the deep science of video games."
"I like that kinda stuff too."
"Who's D.B. Cooper?"
"Hell if I know."
"See. Cap and I can talk about him for an hour and a half."
"I'm pretty sure that we could have more interesting conversations than that."
"Are you jealous or something?"
"Yea," I bluntly answered. "What's the fucking point of beating around the bush? Taurus, I love you."
"What?"
"I. Love. You."
"Well_"
"You love Cap, I get it."
"Yea."
"And we can still be friends, but you don't want to be more. You want to be with Cap, eventually marry him, and have two kids. I got it." Sarcasm began to lace the tone of my voice and my hand gestures began to become sporadic.
