Pisces's POV

The sun was setting, causing the light to disappear with it. All twelve of us sat around the crackling bonfire on logs. Hydra instructed us to take an iron skewer and stick either marshmallows or hot dog weenies on them without being greedy.

I sat between Taurus and Leo, who both seemed pretty chill. I observed the people around me, since they each are potential new friends. Sagittarius came off as fun and had a lot of adventure stories to tell. Gemini was talkative. Libra had cool and collected aura. Virgo was stern and mature in a strict way. Capricorn seemed to go along with anything and was mature in a good way. Aries and Scorpio have the sense of humor of eight grade boys. Cancer was really quiet and kind of cute. And Aquarius was a fun loving guy and really quirky.

After Sag finished telling her tale of going white water rafting, there was a pause of silence, leaving the sounds of bugs buzzing, the fire popping, and chewing. And of course Gemini broke it.

"You guys wanna play some campfire games?"

"Yea, that sounds good," Libra responded. "How about we play truth or d_"

"That's cliche as hell," Scorpio interrupted. "Let's play double dog dare instead."

"You can learn a lot about someone from the dares they're willing to take," Capricorn added. "And most of the truth questions asked are trivial and cliche."

"What does that mean?" I asked. We just got out of school and he's using big and advanced words like 'trivial' and 'cliche'.

"The questions people ask for truth are dumb," Taurus explained.

"Oh, thanks."

"So, who wants to go first?" Capricorn asked.

"How about we go in alphabetical order?" Libra proposed.

"Nooo!" Aquarius whined. "That means I have to go first!"

"Which means you'll have the easiest dare," Libra responded.

"Oh yeah."

"Alright. Aquarius, I triple dog dare you to stick a marshmallow in Hydra's ponytail when she's turned around." Scorpio smirked mischievously.

"B-but, what if I get in trouble?"

"Fine. I'll do it instead for the low price of twenty bucks," Scorpio responded.

"I'll pay you when we get back to the cabin."

"So we can get out of dares by paying Scorpio to do them for us?" Virgo asked.

"Yep." Scorpio grinned to himself. "It's a reasonable exchange. Monetary compensation for self respect."

Yes, because paying the sadist to do things for us is reasonable.

Aquarius's POV

By the middle of the game, Scorpio made at least $160,  because eight people refused to accept their dares. Aries, Cap, and Gem were the only ones that accepted their dares.
