Late Night Nature Walk

Capricorn's POV

We were all in the mess hall eating dinner. It tastes like the shitty cafeteria food that they give at school.

Meatloaf that didn't taste like meat. Liquidity mash potatoes. Green beans that still taste like the metal in the can. Yea, all the gross shit that ends up in the trash.

"Hey, Taurie said that you wanted all of us to be friends again. That true?" Scorpio asked.

"Yea."

"Why though? I've done nothing but been an asshole to the both of you. Especially you."

"Yea, but everyone serves another chance."

"Taur said that you guys gave me a lot already."

"We did. I just don't want to leave camp hating anyone."

"What are you gonna do when you leave camp?"

"Finish up my last year of high school. Graduate. Apply for Yale or Harvard even though I know I won't make it in."

"Why would you apply for a school that you won't get in?"

"My brothers managed to get accepted. Why not see if Lil' Baby Cap can get in too?"

"I thought you had one brother."

"According to my dad, I do."

"What does that mean?"

"He caught my other brother smoking weed. He said that that sort of behavior was unacceptable for our family. So what are you gonna do when you leave camp?"

"Finish up high school and apply for college so I can become a aerospace or computer engineer."

"That sounds cool."

"What college do you really want to go to?"

"I don't know. Maybe somewhere close to home or Taurus. She told me that she lives thirty minutes away from a college."

"You should go there then."

"Why are you suddenly wanting me to get closer to Taurie?"

"She seems a lot more happier with you."

The door opened and slammed against the wall by the amount of force put on it. I turned towards the door because of the noise. There was the wide smile and ginger curls peeking from under a baseball cap. Hydra...

"Good evening, you guys! You ready for your late night activity?!"

"Is it sleeping?" Aqua asked.

"Don't be silly. It's a late night nature walk!"

We all stared at her with a blank face. I hope she knows that no one sane would want to do this.

"Yay! I've always wanted to do a nature walk!" Pisces chirped.

I did say no one sane...

"Is this activity mandatory?"

"Yes. Yes it is."
