The Boy Who Killed His Sister On Halloween

Loomis and Ben ended up in a new cruiser roaming the streets in town,Ben was still upset about finding Jenkins murdered in his own store.
"I know he was a good friend of yours" Loomis said.
"He was a good guy Loomis,he was a very good guy he didn't bother nobody he didn't start problems with nobody I remember back when my dad use to take me over there when I was kid and mr Jenkins would always give me a free soda and some candy,back then times was easier for me" Ben said.
"Lets hope he didn't die in vein" Loomis said.
"That's why we gotta find Michael" Ben said."but right now I gotta run an errand".Ben pulled over to a little antique store.
"You buying something?" Loomis asked,
"No my daughter works here plus she knows Laurie they are very good friends and if this bastard is on the loose and after a girl who hangs with my kid I definitely gotta keep my eye open now" Ben said.He pulled over and him and Loomis went inside,there at the front of the corner was Ben's daughter Kate who was putting old book on the shelf.
"Hey dad what are you doing here? Kate asked.
"Hey sweetheart I just came by to drop off your keys are you still staying at my place for halloween? Ben asked.
"Thanks dad and of course I do that every year" Kate said.
"Plus Laurie is gonna be babysitting that night two streets over so maybe after she gets done with that she can come hang with me".
"Wait two blocks over?" Loomis asked.
"Hey didn't somebody get killed on that street a few years back?" A voice asked.it was John who also went to the same high school as Kate.
"Oh yeah didn't some guy kill a girl or something like that?" Kate asked
"Yeah that little boy he went crazy or something like that  I heard they put him in some nut house" john said,"I heard he had another sister though but nobody knows what happened to her".
"If you ask me she's a lucky girl,who would want that guy in their family" Kate said.
"Ain't it crazy though out of all nights he did it on Halloween? John said,"he probably didn't get enough candy".
"He probably didn't get the costume he wanted" Kate said,then the two shared a laughed.
"Enough you two,at the end of the day a girl lost her life have some respect will you" Ben said.
"Lighten up dad we was just joking" Kate said,rolling her eyes.
"You better get back to work young lady before I change the locks on you" Ben said.
"Welp I'm clocking out it's that time of the day" Johnny said,"hand me my bag".kate reached under the counter and gave him his book bag and a mask was hanging out of it.Ben took the mask out.
"What the hell is this suppose to be?" Ben asked.
"Do you like it? I thought I could get a couple of scares out of it" john said.
"It's out the ordinary i will give you that one" Ben said.then he handed John his bag.
"I will see you tomorrow kate make sure to cash out before you leave" john said.
"See ya" Kate replied.
"Sweety what do you know about laurie's parents?" Ben asked.
"They go out of town every Halloween so they won't be here why you asked?" Kate asked.
"Oh nothing i was just wondering why that's all I will see you later" Ben said,then gave her a kiss on her forehead,"love you".
"Love you too dad" Kate replied.
Loomis and Ben went back to the cruiser to talk more.
"I can't tell her Loomis" Ben said.
"We got to sooner or later before it's too late" Loomis said.
"Your right just give me some time to think of how I can break it down for her without her telling Laurie" Ben said.
"Where next?" Ben asked.
"To his house..Hells house" Loomis said.
