Halloween

October 20

It was the next morning at the local diner near the motel where Loomis had to stay since Ben felt it wouldn't be safe staying home since Michael Myers knows where he lives.They find a seat and sit down to strategize.
"This morning I made some posters of him hoping somebody might of seen him" Ben said,then he handed them to Loomis.
"It just the basic stuff that we know so far I was thinking of putting them at places he might pass by going home there are a lot of businesses over there somebody is bound to see him" Ben said.
"Where should we start you think?" Loomis asked.
"Lets go by Jenkins,he's been around for years everybody passes his gas station and that old man barely leaves so he must've seen something by now" Ben said.
"Your right lets go check" Loomis said ,then they went to the cruiser and drove off to the gas station.while driving they noticed his garage was open but he was nowhere to be found.
"That's odd" Ben said.
"What's odd about it?" Loomis asked.
"Loomis you been living here as long as I have probably even longer and everybody knows that man does not leave that garage open if he's not in it.
Ben suddenly had a thought and it frightened him.ben jumped out the car and ran to the gas station.Loomis followed him.Ben kicked in the little lock door and tried to find Jenkins.
"Jenkins!,dammit Jenkins say something!! Ben hollered.Then they noticed a trail of blood from behind the counter,Ben hopped over it and found Jenkins mutilated half naked body his face had been smashed in with a hammer.
"Jenkins!! Jenkins!! Ben screamed,trying to wake Jenkins but his body was cold already.
"Michael took his jumpsuit" Loomis said.
"Cause you know why! The bastard knows people saw him last night at your house and now he's changing disguises on us!! Ben yelled.
"Ben we gotta call the ambulance and get out of here and stop him before he reaches home. Loomis said,outside the gas station they heard the cruiser start up,they ran outside to see somebody was in it.
"Michael!!" Loomis shouted,as the car pulled off speeding down the street,Ben started shooting his rifle at the cruiser to try to slow it down but it got away.
"Godammit!" Ben yelled.
Loomis fell to his knees in disappointment.
"It's no use,no matter what we do he seems to have the upper hand on us" Loomis said.
"It's not over yet" Ben said,then he ran inside cracked open the register and took some change then went outside to the payphone and called his department.
"Get a few deputy's down to the old Jenkins gas station and let them know if they see my cruiser, pursue the driver in it and get an ambulance down here let them know there's been another murder and tell them to hurry" Ben said then hung up the phone.
"Loomis this bastard ain't getting away with this I'm with you and we gonna bring this guy down he can't get away for too long"
"There's only 11 days left till Halloween lets hope we get to Laurie before he does" Loomis said.
"He's not gonna get to her I can promise you that, I'm gonna have the team locked in on this till he gets brought down" Ben said.
"Only 11 days left" Loomis said.
