Halloween

Halloween night

As Kate made her way down the stairs to meet Laurie for the mall she was stopped by her dad on her way out.

"Where are you going Katie?" He asked.

"I'm just going out to the mall to hang out but I'll be back soon".

He took a deep sigh and stepped in front of the door blocking her from leaving.

"I know you're going to meet up with Laurie".

For a second she was confused on how her dad could've known but then it hit her,he was listening to their conversation the whole time on the phone.

"Wow now I can't even be on the phone without you listening".

She stormed off back on the stairs until Ben stopped her.

"Listen Katie please,I don't wanna have to lock you up but you're forcing my hand on this situation.This is not one of those peeping toms or random stalkers this man is a killing machine I'm trying to protect you and your friends you have to see that".

As they went back and fourth the phone started ringing again.

"Loomis could you get that for me?" Ben asked.

"Yeah of course".

As Dr Loomis picked up the phone he noticed on the other end it was one of Bens colleagues telling him that they needed to turn on the tv.When Ben overheard tv he went and turned the tv on and went to their local news channel.

"Oh my god" he said in disbelief.

Loomis and Kate gathered around him to see his name on the news and much worse they seen Michaels name on the news.

"That son of a bitch went back on his word he went to the news".

"The principle? You think he did this?" Loomis asked.

"It had to be him I swear it was him".

While they were watching the news they started to hear a crowd forming outside in the front yard.Kate went and peeked out the blinds and saw people from all around town gathering around the house.

"Dad you might want to see this".

Ben and Loomis went by the window and were stunned to see how many people were outside.

"Oh my god! there has to be at least 50 or more people outside" Loomis said.

"I gotta handle this fast".

Ben immediately went outside and tried to calm down the town folks but their roars became louder and a bit more aggressive.

"People please I'll be happy to answer all of your questions just one person at a time".

"We have a serial killer on the loose!" a woman shouted.

"It won't even be safe to take our kids trick or treating" another woman said.

"Please listen to me,I'll admit we do have a killer on the loose but the situation is under control and you can still take your kids out for Halloween".

"How can we trust you? Nobody wants to take their kids out for Halloween if a maniac is on the loose" A bystander shouted.

"You all we have 24/7 supervision on Halloween night I'll make sure personally that I have a cop on each corner and I'll make sure to keep my guys patrolling throughout the neighborhoods".

"Halloween is only in a few days if you don't want to take your kids out I understand 1000% but for the parents who still want to take their kids out you will be fully protected I promise".
