The Set Up

I't was now October 22nd the 21st had went by with no trace of Michael nowhere and no new signs of no attacks it was almost hopeless until Ben had gotten a call from a local deputy telling him there is something out at a barn he should check that can be related to Michael.Ben went down stairs to see Loomis who was having a drink in the living room while watching the news.
"Even the news is covering the murder now" Loomis said.
"Sam you might be happy we found something interesting on a barn not too far out town" Ben said.
"Is it another murder?" Loomis asked.
"It didn't seem like it but it seemed like something we can benefit off of" Ben said.
They hopped in the cruiser and went to the barn that was about a mile out of town,when they arrived there they seen a old man waiting outside on the dirt pathway for them.Loomis and Ben hopped out and walked to him.
"Hello sir you had to show us something" Ben said
"Yes I do sheriff" the old man said,"my dog kept barking but I didn't think much of it then I noticed a few of my pigs had gone missing then I check inside my barn and this is where you two come in".
Ben and Loomis go inside the barn and find slaughter pigs hooked on the wall slit open.
"What in gods name" Loomis said.
"The bastard knew we was after him so instead of killing another person he decided to hide out and kill animals" Ben said.
"You two know who did this?" The old man asked.
"Yes we know him very well actually" Loomis said.
Ben went to inspect the pigs.
"It's freshly cut open too,so this had to happen today" Ben said.
"Do you think he will be back?" The old man asked.
"Knowing that he won't go back home yet,he most likely will" Loomis said.
"I got an idea" Ben said."lets leave this where it is so it'll draw him back it'll make him think nobody knows he's here and then when he does come back we take him down".
"What can I do to help?" The old man asked.
"I'm sorry sir I don't want you to get caught in this crossfire" Ben said.
"Cmon I gotta do something this bastard killed my animals" the old man said.
"How about this,do you get a nice view of the barn from your house?" Ben asked.
"Of course I do" the old man said.
"How about I stay at your place and my friend will stay here in the barn and lure him out when he gets here and then when he's lured out I might let you get a punch or two in" Ben said.
"You got a deal partner!" The old man said excitedly.
"Loomis you ok with this?" Ben asked.
"I'm fine with it all I gotta do is find a place to hide out" Loomis said.
"There's some piles of hay in the back you can hide behind of it ain't comfortable but it's something" the old man said.
"How will you know if he's here though?" Loomis asked.
"I'm gonna have binoculars and I want you to stay at a distance where I can see you,if you move thats a sign he's here" Ben said.
Ben went and moved the cruiser away from the barn so it wouldn't be obvious and he went to the old mans house which was next to the barn and Loomis waited behind the hay.Hours went by and it was going on 9 pm without a sign yet.
"This is crazy where the hell does this man go?" Ben thought,"old mm do you mind keeping lookout for me I'm gonna have a little rest".Ben gave the old man the binoculars and sunk into the chair near the window.
"Oh dammit I forgot to feed the dog" the old man said.He slowly creeped out the door to the kitchen hoping to not wake Ben.In the barn Loomis started to hear the door open and heard footsteps slowly creeping in,Loomis had a nervous feeling running through him but knew he had to stay strong ,he slowly took his gun out and hid it behind his back and revealed himself,he seen a man dragging a dead animal wearing the white mask John had and wearing the jumpsuit that was missing from Jenkins body.
"Hello Michael" Loomis said."I've been waiting for you".
Michael stood still,still dragging the dead animal with a bloody butcher knife in his other hand.
"Michael look at what you done you killed innocent people it's time to stop,I know what you want and you can't have her" Loomis said.
He slowly walked closer to Michael slowly making sure he had the revolver ready.
"Michael put the knife down" Loomis said.
Michael still stood in the same spot just looking at Loomis,then Michael dropped the dead animal and started to walk closer to Michael.
"Freeze Michael don't come any closer" Loomis said.
Michael kept walking closer and closer.
"I said stop Michael!" Loomis shouted.
Michael kept getting closer and closer so close that Loomis started to back up.
"I said stop!!" Loomis shouted,then pulled the gun from his back and let off a shot but Michael had grabbed his arm and pushed it out the way and the shot hit the ceiling,It was so loud it woke Ben.Michael started squeezing Loomis arm till he dropped the gun and fell to his knees.
Ben looked into the binoculars and started to panic when Loomis wasn't in the spot,the old man ran in when he heard the gun shot.
"Dammit old man you had one job to do,only one thing!" Ben shouted,he grabbed his shot gun and ran down stairs and outside to the barn with the old man behind him carrying a bat.
"Please Michael don't do it" Loomis pleaded.Michael rose up his knife getting ready for a stab when Ben had rushed and hit Michael on the head with the bottom of his gun,Michael fell dropping his knife.
"Dammit Loomis this is why I told you,you need back up" Ben said.
Michael had gotten back up and grabbed his knife.
"Behind you!" The old man shouted.
Ben had turned around and Michael stabbed him in the shoulder he fell to the floor,Loomis grabbed his gun and tried to shoot again but Michael had grabbed him by his neck and threw him to the wall the gun fell out his hands.The old man swung the bat at michaels back barely getting a reaction out of him,the old man frighten started swinging the bat at him again and again but it still wasn't slowing him down,then Michael the bat and took it out his hand then he picked up the old man and threw him on one of the exposed hooks.The old man screaming in pain and slowly trying to pull himself off the hook that was stuck in his back while Michael went a grabbed his knife and walked towards him,the old man spat on his mask in disgust.
"Fuck you" The old man said.
Then Michael lifted his chin up and slit his throat killing him instantly.ben managed to get up and sent off a shot at Michael,the gunshot made him stumble.
"Die you bitch!" Ben shouted.
Then he shot three more times till Michael collapsed on the floor.Ben went and picked up Loomis and helped him back in the house so they could call for an ambulance and back up.
Ben put Loomis on the steps outside the house and came back out after he made the call.
"Loomis we did it" Ben said,"we finally got him".
"Is your shoulder okay?" Loomis asked.
"This shoulder pain ain't nothing compared to my happiness right now" Ben said,"I will be back I'm gonna get you some ice".
