As Katie went to go visit her dad in the hospital,Laurie and Johnny decided to go stop at a local diner and talk more about the weird things that had been happening lately,Johnny who's usually full of spunk and enthusiasm hadn't been himself lately ever since losing his mask which should've been something minor to stress but it took a weird toll of him.

So what exactly happened that day? And what was it about the guy in that car that caught you off guard? Laurie asked.
That guy in the car Laurie..I think...I think that was the guy that robbed me.
Are you sure? Johnny it could just be your mind playing tricks on you if anything.
No Laurie I remember the guy that robbed me he had a scar on his hand similar to the glimpse of that man in that car.
Laurie moved over closer to Johnny in their booth.
Why is this bothering you so much?.
Cause Laurie what if that guy that robbed me is the guy that's doing all this stuff?.
No don't think like that.
And why not? I could've died Laurie over a stupid mask and everybody knows what's going on in town and everybody is scared and nobody wanna speak on it or address it but I'm tired of acting like I'm okay when the truth is I'm scared Laurie...I'm really scared.
Laurie Hugged Johnny as tight as she could,his head laying on her chest as he tried to stop his teardrops from falling.
This gun is not only gonna protect me but it's gonna protect you and Katie I know I shouldn't have bought it but I got no choice.
I just think your paranoia is really high on this if anything this Halloween come over to my place and help me babysit,after Halloween is over all this madness might stop.
I don't think this is gonna be that easy Laurie...do you believe in the boogeyman?.
The boogeyman? I think we are too old to still be thinking that there's a boogeyman.
No Laurie listen I heard about that kid that killed his sister he still had another sister here what if it's him?
Oh Johnny really? You think it's that guy doing this?

That happened so long ago and nobody knows where he even is now.
He's killing people Laurie I'm telling you.
