Halloween

The Truth

When Ben and Dr Loomis arrive to the school they noticed a crowd surrounding lauries locker as they got inside.
"Who the hell can just tear open a locker door like this?" Somebody asked.
"Maybe the screws on the door were loose" somebody suggested.
"All right everybody please clear out a little bit" Ben demanded.
He and loomis finally got the crowd to back off but not completely,they could still feel all the eyes of the teachers and staff watching them as they were confused on what happened.
"Hey there Ben it's so nice to see you again I wish it was on better circumstances though".
It was Stuart Dubois he was the principle of the school and not just that but he was a good friend of Bens.They grew up together in town but even though their job choices made them go two different directions they remained friends.
"Hey stu what's going on,I hate that I had to be brought here like this but don't worry about it I'll look into it" Ben said.
"Can I have a word with you two if that's possible?" Stuart asked.
"Sure I don't see why not,you alright with that Loomis?" Ben asked.
"Not at all but I'm intrigued,why though?" Dr Loomis asked.
"It'll be better in private" Stuart insisted.
They walked into his office which probably let the crowd go back to snoop at the locker damage,as they walked in Stuart pulled out a bottle of whiskey and pour everybody a drink.
"I usually don't do this and I know it's not with school policy but for this I think we all need a drink" Stuart said.
As he finally sat down in his chair it felt like the world stopped spinning,it was just silence so silent you could hear a thumb tack drop.Stuart took a sip of his whiskey and finally spoke.
"I know about what's going on" Stuart said.
Loomis looked at Ben In confusion and shock.
"What do you know? About what?" Loomis Asked.
"The babysitter murderer,the boogeyman,you know what I'm talking about I know he was here." Stuart said.
"Shit,look stu I know it's crazy right now but you have to keep this to yourself this is our concern" Ben said.
"But that's the thing Benny when it comes to me and my school and some damn near 6'8 killing machine walking in here and destroying stuff it becomes my concern I got kids that come here to learn!" Stuart yelled.
"Stu you gotta calm down" Ben said.
"I think we all should calm down,listen we shouldn't be fighting each other we should all be trying to work together" Loomis said.
"Who is this guy is it really Michael?" Stuart asked.
Ben finally took his shot of whiskey and finally spoke.
"Yes it's really Michael it's really the babysitter killer and no it's not under control yet but we finally got a plan" Ben said.
Stuart poured himself and Ben another shot and sat back in his chair.
"Okay proceed,now tell me what he wants with Laurie?" Stuart asked.
"Laurie is his younger sister and he's come back for her" Dr Loomis said.
"Does she know about this?" Stuart asked.
"Of course not she was a baby when it happened" Ben said.
"I studied Michael for most of my career and he has always been this dark intimidating being that haunts in silence and now that he's finally come home he is slowing starting his killing spree" Dr Loomis said.
"And that's what I fear,I'm sorry Benny but if you don't get this man by halloween I'm going to be forced to tell everybody what's really going on" Stuart said.
"No don't worry it won't have to come to that" Ben said.
"To be fair we are trying our hardest to make sure we do this right so we can protect everybody in the crossfire" Dr Loomis said.
"Benny please on halloween if he's not caught I'm sorry but Then you guys force my hand" Stuart said.
Ben stormed out furious the door and dr loomis went after him.
"Thank you for the shots" dr loomis said before leaving.
He finally caught up with Ben who was almost out the school.
"Can you believe this shit?,trying to give us a deadline who the hell does he think he is?" Ben said.
"I actually couldn't agree more with you on this,but he is right if Michael is looking for any best time to find Laurie it's going to be on Halloween" dr loomis said.
"Of course but we already knew that,and we already got a plan,I actually have one of my young deputy's on back up he's going to be patrolling Laurie during Halloween" Ben said.
When they finally got outside they noticed Kate was at the cruiser.
"Katie? What are you doing here?" Ben asked.
"I found this dad"
She pulled out the map he had from earlier.
"Dad what the fuck is going on? You're not telling me something" she said.
"We can explain that" dr loomis said.
"I'm sorry but no Mr Loomis I need him to explain this" Katie said.
"Alright that's enough get in the back of the car now!" Ben shouted.
He snatched the map out her heads and headed into the car.
"And why was you here at the school?" Katie asked.
"Dammit that's enough now shut up!" Ben yelled.
They pulled off from the school and to dr loomis the next stop was simple....they were going to michaels house.
