"You still coming to my family cookout?" Kiara asked over the phone

"Yeah, I'll slide through for a few" I said

"Okay, you bringing the kids right?!" She asked happily

"Nah, they gonna stay home" I said

"Oh ok" she said in a more saddened tone

"I'll bring them" I said only wanting to make her happy

"Ok, see you then" she said

I hung up and went to the boys room.

"Y'all wanna go to a cookout?" I asked them

The girls was over they friends house, so I didn't have to worry about them

"Who's?"Kaiden asked

"Kiara's" I told them

"Mmmm, I'll past, but bring me a plate back" Kaiden said going back to his game

Since Kingston was only 2, he wouldn't have many other kids to play wit, so I called Kiara back told her I couldn't make it.

"Can we go to chucks cheese? And this time just me, you, and Kingston?" Kaiden asked

"Yeah get ready, we leave in 10" I said walking out they room

Today I was going to see Kaliyah

Shit been hard without her, but I've been doing my best making sure everything been good with her kids.

"Hey bitch!!!.... oh shit, can I say bitch when im talking to god?" I asked

"Anyway, so Chris want me to tel the kids what is wrong with me, but I don't think they are ready and on top of that I'm pregnant... but I got my tubes tied a while back and having the baby could kill me and aborting it can hurt me" I said thinking about what the doctor said

"I haven't told Chris yet and I don't want to say anything until I now what to do... Shit Liyah, this is the stuff I need you here for. I honestly don't know what to do anymore" I had tears coming down my face

I checked the time and seen I had to go to a meeting with my doctor so I left and headed to my appointment.

"Tray, I honestly think you should tell Zay what you did" I said

Tray told me what he did to Kaliyah and yeah I was mad but he was my man and I promised to stay by him no matter what.

"I ALREADY TOLD YO ASS NO!!" He yelled

"If I tell him, he gonna come for me, blood or not... What's gonna happen when you become a single mother because my brother killed me?" He asked me

"I'm going to work, I'll see you tomorrow" I said leaving

My job started at 8pm and ended at 6am.

"I know man, since her birthday coming up, I think me and the kids gonna head down there" I told Chris over the phone

Kaliyah's birthday was in 2 weeks and I figured going down there with the kids to see her mom would be a good birthday present even though she wasn't here.

"Aye bro, I'll hit you up later, I gotta deal with these kids" Chris said

"Ight" I said before hanging up

"Is that why you not trying to go any further with me?" Kiara asked from behind me

I turned around

"Yeah, after what happen I wasn't gonna jump right into another relationship" I said

"So what am I suppose to do? Wait for you to get over the girl?" She asked with an attitude

"First off imma need you to lose the attitude. I don't care what you do, I ain't ever getting over her so don't think that. " I told her walking over to the door and opening it

"Seriously?" She asked shocked

"I'm not laughing! Get out!" I said raising my voice since she couldn't the message the first time

She stomped out and I shut the door behind her.

I went on my phone and purchased me and the kids tickets back to Cali.
