Today was the family dinner but I wasn't to sure I was going to go. I had the kids for the day, so I was going to the mall to get them nice outfits for tonight.
Xavier's mom called me and told Me it was a formal dinner and that some rich people were coming, so I wanted the kids to look nice.
"Mom, can I wear these?" Kaiden asked pointing to some Balenciaga's
"Boy hell no! You are still young" I told him
Over here tryna wear thousand dollar shoes for a one time event and I know he would mess them up at school.
After each of them picked out a nice outfit I paid and we left the stores
"Kaliyah" someone called
I looked around and it was Malik with his son Marquis.
"Hey" I smiled as I hugged him
"These ya kids?" He asked
"Yeah" I said
Kaiden mugged Malik and Malani looked at Marquis, while Kingston was looking at Malik.
"Boy fix ya face" I said hitting the back of his head
"Dang mom, you ain't have to do that. This nigga looking at you like you a full course meal, he better learn his place before me and pops give him a 2 piece combo." Kaiden said looking Malik up and down
I shook my head
"Go to the car now!" I said giving him the keys
I knew Kaiden would start acting like Xavier.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not busy this weekend if you wanna do something" I told him
"Yeah that sounds good" he said
"What's your name?" Marquis asked me
"I'm Kaliyah, what's your name?" I asked him
"Marquis... your a pretty lady, prettier than my momma. Dad is this all you? Your daughter is really pretty too" Marquis said
I giggled
"Thank you, I should get going" I said before walking away
I made it to the car and got in strapping on Kingston before pulling off.
"Kaiden, if I hear you talk like that again, I swear imma beat yo ass! Imma talk to ya Dad too" I said
"Mom, I know you seem that nigga lookin at you" Kaiden said
I slammed the brakes and popped him in the mouth
"Say one more thing" I said glaring at him
He chuckled
"I love you mom" he said
"Mmhmm" I said turning around and proceeding
We made it home and while the kids went upstairs I looked through my closet for something to wear tonight.
"Hmmmm, Black or Nude?" I asked myself
I pulled out the black dress and sole matching red bottoms(not the ones in the pic)
