2 weeks later

Everything was now finalized. Me and Xavier are no longer married. We went to the court and not by choice, our lawyers made us go, and from there we have joint custody of the kids.

We switch off every other week, and today I was dropping them off to Xavier.

"Call me if y'all need anything" I told the kids as they got out the car

"Bye mom love you" Kaiden and Malani said

I gave Kingston a kiss on his forehead and once the kids made it inside I drove off and met with Deja.

I pulled up to the cafe and got out going to the table which she was sitting at.

"Hey girl" I said hugging her

"Hey, This is my friend Princess. She just moved here and I figured we could all hang out" Deja said

"Your Kaliyah?" Princess asked

I nodded my head

"How you know her?" Deja asked

"Just heard about her" Princess said

I looked at her

"Princess ya real name?" I asked her

"Yes it is" she said smiling

"ok soooo, Y'all wanna go out tonight?" Deja asked us

I wasn't too sure about this Princess girl. She seemed sketchy.

"Yeah" we both said

My phone vibrated and it was a message from Malik

Malik- If you not busy come thru.

I put my phone away and joined the conversation they were having.

"Why you choose to move here?" I asked Princess

"Well, my son is down here and I wanted to be closer to him." She said

I didn't want to ask why she left her son, so I just nodded my head

"I have to go but I'll see you tonight D" I told Deja before leaving

I drove to Malik's house and knocked on the door.

He looked at me up and down

"Where the rest of your dress go?" He asked me

"Boy stop playing" I said

He let me in and close the door behind me.

"Why you tell me to come?" I asked

Malik was someone I use to go to high school with. I just recently met back up with him a few weeks ago.

"I can't talk to you?" He asked

"I mean you can, but isn't this the day you have your son?" I asked him

Malik was a dad. He has a 6 year old son named Marquis.

"Yeah, but he with his friend right now" he said coming behind me and wrapping his arms around me

"Uh no... I didn't come over here to be a smash and past" I told him moving away from him

"Then why you come?" He asked raising an eyebrow
