I had just woken up and and went to the bathroom brushing my teeth.

My phone started ringing and I walked back to my room and picked it up.

"Who is this?" I answered since the caller was unknown

"Xavier" he said

"The kids okay?" I asked

The only Time he ever called was to talk about the kids so I didn't think much of anything else.

"Yea they good... but what you plan on doing for Kaiden's birthday?" He asked me

"Ummm... have a pool party. Why? You had something planned?" I asked him

"Yeah, I already told him, I would take him and his friends to see the NY giants play" he said

I sighed

"Can't you move it to another day? I already told some of my family" I said

"I already paid for the tickets" he said

"Alright whatever Xavier" I said before hanging up

How tf he gonna ask me if I'm doing anything but already have something planned.

I took a shower then put on my Swim suit and over that I put on my pink sundress with my gold mk sandals.

I grabbed my phone, wallet and keys before walking out and getting in his car.

Today I was hanging out with Malik.

We are not together, whatever happened yesterday was not meant to happen.

I looked back and his son was in the back asleep.

"Awww he is so cute" I said smiling

"He bad as hell tho" he said

I turned back around and he pulled off.

"Imma drop him off then we can do our thing" he said

I nodded my head

About 10 mins later he pulled up to a house and he got out the car with his son.

He came back and pulled off again.

"That's his mom?" I asked him

"Yeah, you know her or something?" He asked

"Her name Princess?" I asked

The girl looked real familiar

"Yeah" he said

I stayed quiet and we finally pulled up after an hour drive to Santa Monica Beach.

We walked down the beach and found a spot.

I took off my sundress and went down by the water.

I didn't really do beaches. So every time I did go I would only go as far as putting my thighs in and that was it.

Malik came down behind me.

"I think your a little to close" I said

"I think I'm not close enough" he said

As soon as I felt his breath hit my neck I moved away.

"You always movin" he said

"Yes because I don't want you starting anything" I said

"Why? I thought I made it obvious that I'm feeling you" he said looking at me

"I just got out of a 7 year marriage and I'm not trying to rush into something new already. Don't get me wrong, I'm feeling you. But I wouldn't feel right moving on that fast" I told him

"So why you with me today?" He asked me

"Because I like hanging out with you." I said

He nodded his head

"I'm not saying I don't want to be with you, it would just be better if we took things slow" I said

"Ight" he said

"Now, lets go walk on the pier" I told him walking back up

"Have you heard of some chick named Kaliyah?" Princess asked me

"I don't want to hear shit you have to say about her" I snapped

Every female I meet always wanna talk about Kaliyah like they can't talk to her themselves.

"Sorry..." she said

I sighed

"I ain't mean to snap on you, but too many females talk about her and if they have a problem they can find her." I said

"Understood... You have 4 kids?" She asked looking at the pictures of Malaysia, Kaiden, Malani, and Kingston.

"Yeah" I said not wanting to go into detail about Malaysia.

Princess noticed a picture of Kaliyah and smiled to herself.
