"Don't you have a meeting to go to?" Dijon asked me

I was suppose to be at my Daughter's Parent Teacher conference.

I sprayed perfume and rolled the windows down then changed my jacket.

I finally found her class and walked in.

"Yup" I said trying to avoid any conversation with him

"Well, I want to talk to you when you get a chance" he said

"Princess... I know y'all don't like each other but I'm starting to like her and I just wanted to let you know, so that if the kids come to you talking about her you wouldn't be surprised" he said

For a moment I thought he was going to say he left that bitch for good.

"Oh... well I'm happy for you and I'll do what I can to put our differences aside" I told him

"Ight but my mom having a big dinner tomorrow night, she want you to come" he said

"Princess not gonna be there and it's just a family dinner" he said

I wasn't tripping on Princess. It was just the part of being around Xavier more than I needed to.

I got in the car and drove off going home.

When I pulled up 3 cars were in my drive way.

I pulled out my gun and unlocked my door going inside.

I appeared in the living room and my cousin Imani, and 3 other niggaa was sitting on MY couch.

"Who tf are y'all?" I asked

"They with me Liyah. These the homies, Dae, and Ryan" Imani said

I gave her a blank stare

"So you thought it was smart to bring strangers in my house? Do you know who I am?" I asked Imani

"I know Liyah... but I'm in town for a few months and I need a place to stay" she said

I was still mad at her for popping up in my house with these niggas but she was Family and like a sister to me.

"Ok, but I don't want no bitches coming in my house" I said talking to the guys

"Y'all can stay downstairs and Imani you can stay upstairs with me" I told them

I nodded and walked to the car while she went to get the guys.

We took 2 cars and went to Roscoes.

Once we were seated, Imani tried
To spark a conversation.

"You still in the game?" Ryan asked me

"No" I said

"So what you still doing hanging out Dijon?" He asked

"You asking to many questions" I said

After we all finished eating they went back to my house and I went to Xavier's because I got a text from him.

I knocked on the door and he opened it welcoming me in.

"Why you ask me to come?" I asked

"Princess coming over, and I want y'all to hash out whatever y'all got" he said

"Xavier, I do not want to be around that girl" I said

"Why? What she do to you?" He asked

She's making you happy and that was something that I didn't like about her. Princess was going to take my place and become Xavier's everything.

"What you don't like her cause she wit me? Is that it?" He asked

I just looked at him and didn't respond

"Yes that's the reason. You think it's easy for me to just accept the fact that you have another female in your life that makes you happy and treats you good. That was once me and to know that it is now someone else hurts. I'll never be good with Princess or any female you have. Im not gonna smile in her face and act like we're cool because we're not."
