The darkness and silence was slowly killing me. Nothing made sense anymore.

I couldn't wrap my head around that I had an older brother. Not only that, but he was also working with the kidnappers!

Then a thought sprang to mind. Why couldn't I remember anything about him? He looked to be only a few years older, so surely I should remember some details about my very own sibling right? I also didn't understand why mum and dad never seemed to mention this fact at all during the fourteen years of my, so far, interesting life.

In fact, whenever Millie and/or I seemed to ask anything that was related about the family, the seemed to tense up, as though they didn't want us to know something. Or in this case, someone.

Apparently, my life was a mess and I had been living a complete lie for a large amount of my life. Then I remembered something. A very important detail which I had overlooked for far too long now.

That nightmare I'd had just recently, suddenly didn't really seem like much of a nightmare. As if agreeing with me, a dull pain thudded on my back near my left shoulder blade. Plus, my nightmares have never seemed that realistic before, unless I was reliving my past experiences, which has unfortunately been happening a lot recently.

My head started spinning extremely fast, giving me a massive headache, which did not help my increasing hunger. I needed a distraction, and one fast before my headache worsen. So the first thing I thought of, was to close my eyes and relax.

As the time slowly ticked by, the pain started to drift away, allowing me to feel relaxed, without having to worry about the events of the past few days. I finally felt well enough to slowly open my eyes and take in my surroundings, properly this time.

As I had seen before, there were actually multiple celebrities, all of them being in their teen years. I just couldn't understand why there were so many of us. Sure kidnapping a few famous pop stars unnoticed wouldn't cause too much disruption, partially because we young celebs can disappear on months on end without telling our parents. And yes, I have pulled a stunt like that before, although my parents weren't too happy when I returned.

But, the fact that so many of us hear won't go unnoticed for that much longer, unless of course, that's what these kidnappers are hoping for. As my brain desperately tried to figure out what these kidnappers were trying to gain by making themselves go public, my eyes kept skimming across the numerous teenagers.

The lights were really dim and I still couldn't seem to match names to faces. What made me curious though, was the fact that I seemed to be one of the few lucky people that didn't have a gag in my mouth, allowing me to talk freely. Not that it would help at all seeing as how all of my so called companions didn't seem like they were exactly interested in talking to me.

At least that's what I thought before someone on my right called out to me.

"Hello?" the boy on my right whisper – yelled, making sure no one else could hear him, "hey dude, can you hear me?"

"What?" was my only response, while I was trying to get a good look at who he was, however, the room (where ever it was), was too dim for me to get a good look at him.

Although my response wasn't exactly helpful, he sighed with relief, seemingly satisfied that I had even heard him in the first place.

"I can't tell you how thankful I am that you spoke to me, I was getting worried that you may have been ignoring me on purpose," was his reply, when he noticed my confused expression he elaborated, "I might have been trying to get your attention for maybe 5 minutes but you seemed to have had zoned out, especially after that annoying brat left."

"Oh sorry, I guess I'm just a little stunned after everything I've gone through during the past few days," I apologised briefly.

"no worries mate, like I said before, I'm just glad someone here is actually speaking to me, especially after Ella left, I guess you could say I've just been a tiny bit lonely," he put a grin on his face but that didn't stop me from seeing the flicker of pain and sadness cross through his eyes.

As much as I wanted to ask this guy what had happened to him and who this Ella person was, I felt like I might be prying too much, so instead I decided to change the topic.

"Right well, my name's Jason but you can call me Jase," I smiled, introducing myself. Now I would've told him my last name but, I wasn't sure if I could trust this boy I only met 5 minutes ago. Plus, I don't think it would end well if he found out the kidnapper had the same last name and could quite possibly be my brother, whom I never knew about.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Jase, I'm Isaac, but I honestly prefer Zac, I guess you could say Isaac just sounds way too formal in some ways, or maybe it's just me," stated Isaac, smiling right back at me.

"Um Zac, if you don't mind me asking, do you know the reason why we're here," I questioned cautiously, having already learnt this seems to be a touchy subject for him.

As expected, his expression instantly moulded a look of complete seriousness and he seemed to be reluctant to share any information with me.

"I don't know Jase," he started.

However, before Zac had the chance to continue, he stopped mid sentence, looking as though he was the prey that had been caught by the hunter. This reaction confused me greatly so, being the curious person I am, I turned my head to the direction him and everyone else were looking.

And what I saw made my blood run cold, and my heart momentarily stop.

Before me stood another one of those scary lab guys, squished in between two intimidating bodyguards.

"Master Blackwood, if you could kindly follow me this way," spoke the guy in a monotone voice, clearly keeping up a professional front.

I had no choice but to oblige. Like before, my body had a mind of its own and my voice was lost.

Again.

I couldn't leave yet though. I had felt like I had made a friend/ally but they had to come. Especially just when I was about to get answers from Isaac.

Desperately fighting my body, I managed to briefly spin myself around.

Zac was looking at me with a mixture of fear ( probably from the lab guy and bodyguards) and shock and I'm guessing that emotion came from the fact these guys had just called me master Blackwood, something I've never been to fond of people calling me.

Then I lost my control over my body once again, my body forcing me to follow these people to who knows where.
