"Millie?!" I practically cried her name, shock written across my face.
My adorable twelve-year-old sister, Amelia, could not be here. She just couldn't. Yet there she was standing in front of me, she was real, and not a figure of my imagination.
My sister turned to face me, and I gasped. He cheeks were hollow and she looked deathly pale, her eyes sunken, with deep bags underneath them. There was no colour left in her complexion. I couldn't believe it. I started shaking with fury.
What had they done to my sister?!
"Jase!" she cried, with some of her usual energy. She flung herself at me, telling me that we had a lot to talk about, tears pouring down her innocent face. I tried to contain my anger, I had to be strong for Amelia. Little girls should not cry. I would kill the kidnappers for this. Even Dan.
As I scanned faces of kids around me, I saw a few familiar faces. And......
Anastacia Banks. No way.
The daughter of the Chanel CEO, Ana was my classmate and family friend. To everyone else, she's Stacie, but she insists I call her Ana.
A queen-bee of her school, Ana was the exceedingly popular gossip hob. Her "Worker Bees", as the reat of the school called them, were Kylie, Cordelia, Tabitha and Penelope, and they seemed to all be here too, walking in a protective stance behind her.
Ana stepped forward, gently moving Millie away so she could greet me. Although she's a snob to most, Ana knows me really well and knows if anyone hurts my sister, they're dead.
"Jasey!" she squealed, whilst checking me up and down. "Are you okay?"
"Fine," I replied, not wanting to elaborate. "And please don't call me Jasey, we aren't little kids anymore," I commented, inwardly cringing when her Chanel perfume hit me head on.
"Sure, whatever you want Jasey," she said, smiling and batting her eyelashes, clearly not listening to me. This girl is going to drive me insane one day.
I mentally sighed before changing the subject, "So Ana, do you know who any of these people are?" I question looking around at everyone else here.
In response, she points to a beautiful blonde with baby blue eyes "That's Skyla Jennings. Her mum owns Mecca Maxima, but she's a little shallow. But that doesn't matter, let's just go and enjoy ourselves without having to worry about anyone else." she faced my sister. "Don't you agree, Millie," she said, with a blinding smile.
With that, Anastacia Banks hooked one arm through mine and another through Millie's, attempting to drag us off.
"Ana, I need to go speak with someone, and clear some stuff up," I said, thinking of Isaac. "But can you look after Millie while I do?"
Ana looked very disappointed, but she didn't say anything, she simply took off with Millie's arm through hers. I sighed a breath of relief that she had given up so easily.
I lifted my chin and walked towards the others, meeting my murderers.
Authors note - thanks so, so much to Fishing_With_Totoro for helping me write this chapter. I'd also like to thank Anika104 and hannah22banana for coming up with the character Anastacia Banks.
