"So, you've been resistant, have you?" he asked, more to Dan than to me.

When Dan nodded, he said, "Well, at least it's two of them, and possibly the younger sibling since you were also resistant yourself. I can't wait to operate and find out what makes them different!" He was practically giddy with joy, which supported his statement.

"Doctor, the subjects must be kept alive! You almost killed Subject A with your testing, I cannot have you do the same to B." was Dan's smooth reply.

"Tut tut. Two dead celebrities won't matter. The resistant ones would be killed right away, if I had my way. Now leave." Countered the doctor, that evil smirk still plastered on his face.

But Dan didn't leave the room, instead he said, "Begin your experimentation. I will stand guard."

This didn't even slightly dampen the Doctor's style. He gleefully laid me on the bed, tying me down as I struggled against his vice - grip. Whoever this doctor was, he was definitely strong.

"Subject A was just like this, fighting, yet losing," he said, distantly.

The Doctor reached forward for some utensils, before pouring a bottle of something with a big, red warning label on it. Did this dude seriously just pour poison in my mouth!? I would have screamed if my body had allowed me....but, it tasted normal.

"Hmm interesting, nothing's happening, just like A. Let's try something else."

This time, bottle contained something that looked normal. He ungraciously poured a lot into my mouth, droplets splattering everywhere. It tasted like penicillin, but...

My throat was burning!

I felt as if the whole world was spinning at 100 miles per hour, and I was trapped in something that was burning me from the inside out. I couldn't help it. I screamed.

Distantly, I heard the Doctor saying it was just an overdose of penicillin. Apparently this amount of Penicillin made Subject A feel this way, too only the effects seemed to be worse.

I barely heard this through the excruciating pain. I felt like my insides were burning and I was crying, screaming and thrashing, but to no avail. I now understood why they chained me up. I opened my eyes, but the light was blinding, giving me what felt like a migraine. As I screamed, my eyes searched the room for something that would help me. At this point I was desperate for anything. My sight landed on Dan.

Maybe it was my imagination, but I swear Dan's eyes flickered with pain.
