Ch. 14

(I'm 5'2 and have the fighting skills of a marshmallow with next to no knowledge of fencing so I'm googling all this, sorry for any mistakes)

He smiled and gripped his sword after putting on the strange white suit and mask.

The épée had a button on the end of course for safety reasons but felt nice in his hands nonetheless.

"Want to back down before you start something you can't win?"

Yuuri could practically hear the smirk on his face "I should be asking you the same question."

He jumped back as the guard's sword suddenly struck forward.

Well okay, a little warning that they were starting would've been nice.

Immediately, he performed a... What was it called again?

It had been so long since he had done this...

He could almost hear his original guard yelling at him from heaven.

PARRY!

That's what it was called, where you block your opponents attack.

And then what Yuuri did immediately after, riposte, where you attack immediately after a parry.

He smiled when Victor was the one to jump back, obviously not expecting it.

He really needed to realize that Yuuri wasn't some fragile little toddler.

They did some scuffling until Victor seemed to pick up very suddenly and actually start fighting.

The surprise was enough to drive Yuuri to the floor, Victor who hadn't even expected him to fell, came tumbling down on top of him, but moved to where his hands were on either side of his head and hovered above the ravenette.

Both of them panted slightly but neither moved.

Yuuri glanced at his side to see his weapon, which had clattered to the floor when he did, rolling away from him.

"Looks like you win."

His gaze was pulled back to Victor as his mask was gently tugged off and he did the same with the latter's.

Soon they stared into each other's eyes with small smiles.

"Looks like I did, huh... But what do I win?"

Yuuri gave him a cheeky grin "Bragging rights?"

Victor rolled his eyes "I don't know... i was thinking something more along the lines of-"

But Yuuri already knew, so he responded with soft kiss to the lips.

Victor immediately melted into the kiss.

After a moment Yuuri pulled back with a kittenish smile "Is that what you were hoping for?"

The boy's eyes glittered above him.

"Yes."
