Camila's Pov:

*Ding-dong*

I groan not appreciating the person who rang the doorbell.

*Ding-dong*

"MAMI! ARE YOU GOING TO GET THAT!?" I yell getting annoyed and refusing to open my eyes. I wait for a response but get none.

*Ding-dong*

I sigh and get up and look out my window and see that it is raining hard and see dark clouds covering the whole sky. I trudge down stairs while the person rings the door bell again. I hear a rumble of thunder in the distance slightly shaking my house. I open the door irritated by the person outside of it. My eyes instantly get wide when I see who's standing in front of me. "Lauren? What are you doing here!?" She looks up at me and I notice she has tears streaming down her face and her whole body is soaked from the rain. I hear light sobs coming from her while she shivers still standing on the porch not saying anything. I quickly grab her arm and pull her inside and shut the door behind her. I take her into a hug while I feel her shaking with hysterical sobs. I let her cry in my embrace not caring about my clothes getting soaked from hers. After she has calmed down a bit I pull away with my hands on her shoulders and look at her. "What's wrong?" I ask her with a caring soft voice. She looks up and looks me in the eye. Her expression get serious, her eyes lock with mine making me unable to move. I can't tell what is riddled in her eyes but it is making me nervous. She looks at my lips and pulls her won between her teeth then looks back at my eyes and leans in. 'Oh my god.'...I feel her lips brush against mine not totally touching.

"KARLA! GET UP! YOU NEED TO GET READY!"

I instantly sit up panting. I look around and see that I am in my bed. 'What the hell was that!?' I slowly even out my breathing and shake my head clearing out my thoughts. I sigh and look out my window and notice it's raining outside. 'Well that's the only part of my dream that will come true...' I get up and look at my clock. 'Crap. Only 30min to get ready and eat.' I quickly grab a pair of skinny jeans and sweatshirt along with black high top convers and my black North Face rain jacket. I put my clothes on and get ready, eat, then grab my soccer stuff that I packed last night and head out to my mom's car.

-At school 1st period-

"Thank goodness it's Friday!" Dinah says while sinking down in her chair. "Wanna go to the football game together?" Normani asks Dinah and me. "Yeah! Sure!" I say back excited about the first football game of the season. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and sneak a look to see who texted me. 'SOFI!' I get excited because I haven't talked to her since she left for college. I quickly open the message and start to text her:

To Kaki:

Hey baby sissy! I miss you mucho!:)

To Sof:

Hey Sofi! I miss you too very very much!:))

To Kaki:

 How have you been?:)

To Sof:

I've been good!:) You?!:))

To Kaki:

Same! College is waayyyy better than high school:) The people are so much nicer and will actually go somewhere in life rather than all the people in our small town that wont even go to college. hahaha:)

"Miss. Cabello, I would truly appreciate it if you would stop texting in my class." I look up at my teacher and blush. She turns around and I quickly text Sofi.

To Sof:

That's great! Well I just got introuble for texting in class so I'll talk to you later! Love you and miss you!:) <3

I feel my phone vibrate and ignore it knowing it was Sofi saying she loves and misses me too.

-Practice-

I walk to the field with Ally and Rachael. It's still raining but not too hard. We all have our rain coats on with our shorts, shin guards, and cleats on. I love my cleats. They're simple but amazing for me. They're light grey with some patches of dark grey and the Puma logo is black. They're leather and since I have had them since 7th grade they fit my feet perfectly. I love them because they resist water and cold really well. I mean for my club team we had to play a game in 7 inches of snow while it was still snowing and my feet didn't get cold till the end of the second half! (We won the game by the way) We figured out how to move the ball down the field before the other team and we ended up out scoring them by a lot. They didn't catch on that it's practically impossible to dribble the ball through snow without making a snow ball. We're smart and would lift it then run to it, #Geniuses.

"Remember when we played that team in the snow and they couldn't figure out how to move the ball down the field?" Ally asks while Rachael, Ally and I reach the field. "I was literally just thinking about that!" I say getting excited. "That was so funny! I miss club soccer. Your dad needs to get our team back together." Rachael says with a slight frown. "I totally agree but I know he wont." I say back.

Our coach arrives and has us partner up for warm up drills. Lauren comes over knowing that we will be partners because we agreed to always be warm up partners. I go grab a ball and we spread out and pass the ball back and fourth. "You're going to the game tonight right?" Lauren asks while stopping the ball I just passed to her. "Yeah! I'm going with Mani and DJ. I'm guessing you're going with Vero and Lex?" She nods her head. We then spread farther apart to practice long in the air crosses. Each of my passes go straight to Lauren with a bend in it. Most of Laurens go straight to me but a few land more to my left or right. We then start to practice volleys off our feet and thighs along with headers. I toss the ball to her while she volleys it back and I can't help but to admire her concentration and quick reactions. Her long now wavy hair from the rain swinging back and fourth to her movement. Her intense eyes never leaving the ball. After she hits all of them she then starts tossing me the ball. I volley but not as good as her. Some of them go a little hard to her side making her reach to grab it before it rolled away. Three of them managed to slip between her fingers due to the rain. Later we have a mini scrimmage which I am very happy about. Lauren and I are on opposite teams and coach put me as a midfielder instead of forward which I am not very happy about but whatever... The ball gets crossed over to Lauren who's near me so we both jump up trying to get control of the ball. Our bodies hit but Lauren managed to get the touch and control it. She lands before me and I quickly take off after her and manage to cut her off making her go towards the outside. She tries to fake me out but I don't fall for her tricks and she goes to fake again but I quickly tap the ball from under her and slightly shove her with my shoulder pushing her out of my way so I can get the ball. I dribble it up the field and see Dani coming at me trying to get the ball. I look around and see Rachael at right forward and cross it to her. She gets the ball and shoots but kicks it over the goal. 'Oh well...so much for my effort.' Another reason I like tennis more. You mostly rely on yourself unless you play doubles. Tennis is almost like a relationship if you think about it. If you're single (playing singles) you fight by yourself and rely on yourself against the opposing problems but if you are in a relationship (doubles), then you have someone to help you out but at the same time they might bring you down. Plus you will have to deal not only with your problems but theirs as well and you have to fight off the problems together as a team. You have to know and trust your partner in order for it to work. If it's the right match then they can bring you up and make you a better player and person. If they aren't they will only hurt you and bring you down.

Author's Note:

So here's a filler chapter. I would feel bad if I didn't update this weekend. I stayed home from school because I had a fever and I might still have one but I don't think so. Plus i will be at the NLT Sunday so i wouldn't be able to update unless i did it tonight so yeah! Hope you liked it. I know it wasn't anything special. Have a good rest of the weekend!!! I am proud of myself for coming up with that relationship and tennis analogy :D Vote and comment:)
