15 part 2

Camila's Pov:

*Ding-dong*

I groan not appreciating the person who rang the doorbell.

*Ding-dong*

"MAMI! ARE YOU GOING TO GET THAT!?" I yell getting annoyed and refusing to open my eyes. I wait for a response but get none. 'Must've already left for work'.

*Ding-dong*

I sigh and get up and look out my window and see that it is still raining hard and see dark clouds covering the whole sky. I trudge down stairs while the person rings the door bell again. 'Can they just give it a break? God.' I hear a rumble of thunder in the distance slightly shaking my house. I open the door irritated by the person outside of it. My eyes instantly get wide and a swirl of emotions erupt in my body when I see who's standing in front of me. "Lauren? Wha-....what?" She looks up at me and I notice she has tears streaming down her face and her whole body is soaked from the rain. I hear light sobs coming from her while she shivers still standing on the porch not saying anything. I quickly makeup my mind and decide not to let out my hurt feelings on her so I grab her arm and pull her inside and shut the door behind her. I just want to make her feel better so I take her into a hug while I feel her shaking with hysterical sobs. I let her cry in my embrace not caring about my clothes getting soaked from hers. But I can't help bur wonder what she's doing here and 'why now'. The last part I accidently whisper out. After she has calmed down a bit I pull away with my hands on her shoulders and look at her. "What's wrong?" I ask her with a caring soft voice. She looks up and looks me in the eye. Her expression changes drastically, her  ambivalent eyes lock with mine making me unable to move. I can't tell what is riddled in her eyes but it is making me nervous. I can't help but get a powerful feeling of deja vu. She looks at my lips and pulls her own between her teeth then looks back at my eyes and leans in. 'Oh my god.'...I feel her lips brush against mine not totally touching. Then crashing onto mine. I instantly feel my legs go weak and my head pounding and spinning out of control. My whole body is on fire and my eyes are still wide with shock. Once I regain and fully realize what's happening she is starting to pull back but I wont let her before I get to kiss back. I grab on to her hips, close my eyes and lean forward when she starts to pull away. I maintain the lip lock and kiss her back putting all my feelings for her into this kiss. She didn't kiss back but soon our lips are moving perfectly together. I have never had a kiss affect me as much as this one is. I feel her wrap her arms around my neck pulling us even closer than before. Her warm lips that I have always wanted to feel on my own are finally bringing even more pleasure than I thought they would. I slowly and reluctantly pull away and rest my forehead against hers while I still have my eyes closed savoring this moment. "We need to talk" I say while breathing heavily. She nods her head while she is also catching her breath.

The room felt awkward and I could tell there was some tension around us. We sit on the couch in silence. "So...um..." I try to come up with something to say trying to break the awkwardness. I feel Lauren shift her weight to face me, "Look, I'm sorry for ignoring you. I was going through some stuff and I still am and it's confusing the hell out of me." She pauses and takes a deep shaky breath before and locks eyes with me before continuing, "I like you Camila. As more than a friend." I sit there shocked with my eyes wide and mouth slightly open. I mean ya there must have been something going on if she just freaking kissed me. "Why do you looked so shocked?" Lauren asks with a little humor in her voice. "I thought you kissed me out of pity..." I whisper out barely audible. "What? Why would I do that?" she asks while tilting her head. I could see her brain working and I see realization hit her face. Even though she now knows I like her I have to get it off my chest and tell her, "Lauren, I like you. Like, LIKE like you. I have for so long now. I can't believe you just now figured it out." I say slightly laughing and shaking my head in disbelief. A smile slowly makes its way on her face. Her wet hair and clothes sticking to her face and body, her eyes a grey blue with specks of green, her dark hair contrasting beautifully with her skin and eyes. Even soaking wet she's absolutely breath taking. "I'm so glad you like me back" she says while pulling her fingers through her wet tangled hair, "I thought I was going to ruin our friendship over the kiss. I couldn't risk you going away before I told you. I was feeling really selfish and stupid ignoring you and then deciding that I was going to tell you that I like you." she sighs, "I'm just so glad that this didn't ruin anything." I smile at her, "Do you know how long I have waited to hear you say that you like me?" I laugh a little, "It doesn't even seem real right now." I gaze at my gorgeous friend and remember that she's still soaking wet. I stand up and offer Lauren my hand. She looks at it then grabs and stands up as well. "Lets get you all warmed up". She smiles and I lead her to my bathroom. I grab a towel, pullout a sweatshirt and my Nike running shorts along with some underwear. "Here, go take a nice warm shower then we can talk more." She smiles at me gratefully then goes to take a shower.
