The Trump administration just said that transgender students no longer are guaranteed the right to use the bathrooms that match their gender.

As my fucking AP Biology teacher said when asked by a student, THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 50 GENDERS A PERSON CAN IDENTIFY AS, SEEING AS GENDER ISNT THE SAME AS BIOLOGICAL SEX. Like, it's not even a fucking political issue; the literal, scientific definition of a "biological sex" is different from the definition of "gender." (Not that you care about scientific facts now that you have "alternative" facts...)

What the fuck do you think you are achieving??!? First of all, they're students, kids, it's hard enough just being trans in an intolerant area, all you'd be doing by repealing that memo from the Obama administration would be making their school lives way harder. Essentially, doing this is subjecting CHILDREN to bullying and heartache, wtf?!?

THE MORE I THINK ABOUT IT THE MORE I'M TEARING UP, FUCK. This is literally so cruel, because you're just making KIDS have to face hatred and bigotry even more than they already do.

I know at least in my neighborhood the school will continue to let guys go to the guy's restroom and girls go to the girl's restroom (I mean, they were doing it way before it was required, as it should be). But unfortunately some people, even adults who are supposed to help kids, are waaaaaay more bigoted in some other parts of the country. Who will help those kids from transphobic school staff now that the government no longer does?

What has happened to the US? It's barely been a month, and Trump is already getting rid of laws that protect civil rights.

Not even just laws that protect civil rights, but of laws that protect the civil rights of minority students that already have to struggle.

What the fuck are you gonna do next, Trump? Repeal laws that say it's illegal to kill black people?
