I feel slightly guilty because I know how important it was to him to not have his songs just out there on YouTube and stuff to stream, and now that it IS on Spotify it's kinda weird. Having to buy Prince songs almost felt like one of those "Prince things," ya know. Like, high heels, Christianity, sexuality, and making sure people had to buy songs still.
But clearly I'm not too guilty to add ALL HIS FUCKING SONGS to my playlists, ha.

PRINCE WAS MY CHILDHOOD, MAN. My mom would play his CD's in the car all the time when I was little (skipping the more child-inappropriate ones obviously). She's such a fangirl and I didn't even know what a fangirl was at the time. Seriously, she'll tell me off for spending too much time online, and then go back to scrolling through prince.org asking people how to download a bootleg of that one time Prince played The Middle by Jimmy Eat World at an aftershow. And all that got passed down to me, clearly.
So in conclusion FUCKING PRINCE ROGERS NELSON IS MAKING ME TYPE THIS IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I CANT EVEN CONTAIN MYSELF TALKING ABOUT HIM, OKAY?
