Also other things happened
I started watching 13 Reasons Why and am now on episode 7 (I think). I read the book quite a few years ago so I think I kinda have an idea of what all the tapes are, although apparently the show has changed some stuff?
I actually still have a cassette tape player in my room, which I use to play the mixtapes that my friend makes and loans to me (fun fact: I first heard Flock of Seagulls when he was going through a new wave, 80s-pop phase and he gave me a tape that was entirely Flock of Seagulls and New Order). So yeah. Long live cassette tapes!!
Also, I was listening to the show's soundtrack because the first episode was playing Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division, and then this happened:

There's a third thing that imma mention here. So tomorrow (I guess today technically) there's a march for science happening in downtown LA (maybe other places but idk because I don't live near there lol) but basically it's just a reminder that science shouldn't be a political thing. It shouldn't be de-funded or ignored for political reasons. Basically America sucks right now because for some reason people are forgetting that science is objective and real and we all have to accept reality. So that march is supposed to speak to those people (i.e. the entire Trump administration and other climate-change deniers).
I want to go, but if it ends up that I can't (like what happened with the Women's March) I still wanted to mention it :/
