"jisung!" y/n called as she spotted her brother.

jisung waved to her and ran up to her.

"noona, you're early today." he said as the two walked from his school.

"class ended early today. i have no work today so do you want to go anywhere?" she asked and he nodded smiling

jisung was younger than y/n but he was an inch taller than her.

"i wanna go to the beach!" he suggested.

"alright, let me tell granny first." y/n smiled and called her grandmother.

"hello?" the older lady answered.

"granny, jisung and i are going to the beach so we'll be home late ok?"

"alright, take care of each other ok? love you."

"we love you too!" jisung shouted and y/n laughed at him.

"my brother is so cute." she said running her fingers through his hair.

"geez. i'm not a kid anymore." jisung stated moving her hand away.

"you wish. you'll always be a kid to me." y/n teased and pinched his cheeks.

they arrived at the beach and no one was there so they decided to play in the water.

both were in their uniforms but they didn't care.

jisung splashed water at y/n and it turned into a fight.

"take this!" y/n splashed the water in his face and began to run away.

"i'm going to get you!" jisung began to chase after her.

suddenly y/n tripped and was going to fall in the water but jisung caught her at the right time.

"be careful. your whole body would've gotten wet if you fell." he said with concern.

"i'm ok." y/n lied.

she had actually tripped on something sharp and her foot was in pain.

"we should go back." jisung suggested and y/n agreed.

he let go of her and y/n struggled to stand straight.

she looked down and there was blood mixed with the water.

she winced in pain as she made her way back on land.

"your foot is bleeding. why didn't you tell me?" jisung noticed and y/n told him it wasn't a big deal.

"it's just a small cut. don't worry about it."

"no. it'll get infected if you don't treat it right away. let me see." he bent over and examined her foot.

"i think we should go to the hospital."

y/n wanted to refuse but her brother didn't take no for an answer.

"do you want me to carry you? the hospital is only 10 minutes away."

"no need. i can make it." y/n said but as soon as she tried to take a step, the pain became worse.

"see. you're gonna worsen it." jisung picked her up bridal style.

"this is weird. i'm the older sister so i should be carrying you but you're carrying me." y/n noted.

"it's not weird. i'm strong for a 15 year old you know." jisung laughed.

the nurse bandaged y/n's wound and told her to not put so much pressure on it.

"we have to take a taxi home." jisung said and y/n agreed since it was getting dark.

he helped her walk to the vehicle and the two went home.

"we're home." y/n called seeing the lights weren't turned on.

"granny must be asleep." jisung said turning on the lights.

"it's only 6:37 though. she usually sleeps at 8." y/n looked at her phone.

"i'll go check her room. you rest on the couch." jisung went upstairs.

y/n tried calling her grandmother but she wasn't picking up.

"where are you?" y/n thought worryingly.

jisung came back downstairs with worry in his face as well.

"she's not in her room."

"she always tell us if she's going somewhere." y/n mumbled.

"wait here." jisung advised.

"where are you going?" y/n questioned.

"i'm going to ask jaehyun hyung if he knows where she is."
jisung replied as he left the house.
